Why are there so many internet lefties obsessed with West Virginia?
I also have no understanding of modern politics. West Virginia is red because Dems have moved left on social and cultural issues.
The few remaining Trump district Dems in WV thrive by being pro-coal, socially conservative, and pro union.
The people who endlessly cite the 2016 primary don't realize WV has closed primaries. Most of those Bernie votes were protest votes from legacy Dem voters.

I wish we would get past this trend of cropping old TV shows to a format they were never meant for. Seinfeld was meant to be displayed in 4:3.

I am very curious what Spanberger thinks of the redistricting commission in Virginia. Probably very unhappy because Dems could have easily shored her up. Who knows how the commission will draw the district but it could be unfriendly to her.
If she loses, she probably joins the Biden admin in a national security position.
She would have been an interesting gubernatorial candidate.

In a state that voted for Biden by almost 14%, Republicans have a shot at tying the house delegation on this map. How does that accurately reflect the state's partisanship?
4-4 would be an accurate representation of Colorado circa 2012 but this isn't 2012 anymore.
