- Roughly 3,150 gallons (75 barrels) of oil have been recovered from the water, nine boats are dispatched for oil spill recovery operations, and 5,360 feet of boom has been deployed.π

- Residents should know that it is illegal to use soaps to clean oil off the sides of boats and wash it back into ocean. Cleaning sites for personal vessels will be created at no cost to owners. Stay tuned here for more information. π
