From whatever is available until now. A cavalcade was moving and after few cars had passed, protestors came in and blocked the road….
One of the vehicles in the cavalcade - was shown as hitting the protestors which can be seen blocking the way after few cars had passed - from screengrab from same video one can see the windscreen of the thar is broken- encircled below
It is but natural for a driver, who was part of the cavalcade and whose Thar was hit,to panic especially when a mob blocks the way of a moving cavalcade - from the word go,no one is disrupting that people got mauled over but what wasn’t known until now was-that it was hit b4 tht
What happened thereafter is something that will put humanity to shame - the driver of the Thar that was attacked before it’s way was blocked was pulled out and killed in the field, nearby
The Thar was set ablaze
The driver was lynched;b4 that they tried to extract a confession out of him- driver never accepted it even when he was staring at certain death at the hands of a murderous mob that had blocked his Thar’s way, after being hit & ran over protestors in panic!

What if I tell you that thanks to Rahul Gandhi 's Dadi (a legacy that even he wants to continue with) today a Pakistani voter has three times more parliamentary power (vote value) than an Indian voter.
Yeh joke nahi hai, but is the reality of India thanks to EMERGENCY ERA freeze introduced by Indira Gandhi and a wrong that continues even today; something destiny's own child - @narendramodi is set to correct!
Today our one MP represents 26.5 lakh citizens & a Pakistani MP represents 9 lakh.
Even Bangladeshi MP at 5.7 lakh is better than us.
Russia, which we call an autocracy, stands at 3.2 lakh represented by one MP.
Across every major democracy, hybrid regime, and closed autocracy, India sits alone at the bottom
Thanks to Indira, LS built as House of People by the constitution builders is not properly representative & which affects the democratic function as well...
Let us now analyse vide a thread as below:
When converted to MP per lakh population, India comes at 0.038 MPs per lakh meaning 1 lakh Indians are represented by 0.038 MP which is lowest of any major democracy, hybrid regime, or electoral autocracy on the chart
Let us check the numbers once; and I insist that you read them again n again to help it register as to why Modi is doing something that is not historic but is also another historical wrong corrected .
Let us look at MPs per 1 lakh of population for directly elected lower house only across the world:
United Kingdom, 0.952.
Germany, 0.754.
Turkey, 0.706.
Russia, 0.313.
United States, 0.128.
Pakistan, 0.111.
India, 0.038.
India is 25 times behind the UK (the best on the list) & 3 times behind Pakistan (worst).
And this is not a rounding error but the state of the world's largest democracy, thanks to crime committed by Indira Gandhi on Indian constitution in 1976 and that continued unabated until Modi decided to correct it as well
No democracy on earth asks an MP to shoulder more than 10 lakh citizens; but we are an exception
Flip the lens to population per MP.
The United Kingdom sits at 1 lakh.
Germany at 1.3 lakh. Pakistan at 9 lakh.
Across the fourteen-country comparison set, the ceiling is 10 lakh citizens per MP and India alone breaks that ceiling, clearing it by a factor of nearly three.
The chart shows our bar standing in a separate universe from the rest.
Ek MP, chhabbees lakh logon ka bojh.
When we say our MPs are overstretched, this is the sentence we should be repeating and this is also a reason for poor functioning by MPs as they are so overburdened with their constituency that it is difficult to work for all...
But situation wasn't this bad earlier and we used to match that of United States in 1960s & now even Pakistan is ahead of us.
In 1953, India's ratio stood at 0.137 MPs per lakh, comparable to the USA and within the band of other functioning democracies.
In seventy-five years, that number has collapsed to 0.038 which is a 72% fall.
Every other country on the chart held its line and only India's ratio fell off the cliff.
Answer to the question why only us lies with Indira Gandhi- Rahul Gandhi's dadi!
This is how we worsened between 1953 and 2024 (as population projection nos for 2024 have been used)
NOTE- India's ratio collapsed from 0.137 to 0.038. Every other country held steady. The 1976 freeze is visible as the shaded band.
To us Indians- The Emergency officially ended in 1977.
But for India's delimitation process as mandated in the original constitution that came in force on 26th January 1950, emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi, never ended.
And let me tell you why..
Given the debate that is raging across social media, many folks might have seen how their Lok Sabha seats are still allocated on the basis of population numbers frozen by Indira Gandhi's 1971 numbers following 42nd Amendment, that was given ascent to on 18th Dec 1976 during emergency .
Yes, you heard it right, it was frozen vide Article 81 and 82 amendments slipped in during the Emergency.
And as luck would have it, destiny's own child @narendramodi is set to correct that historical wrong as well.....like many he has already corrected since being voted to power on 16th May 2014- yes he is finally lifting that emergency on India's delimitation process!
Let us check vide this thread. 🧵- link of 42nd amendment as notified by the Indira Govt
Natural Qs then must be- so what exactly was frozen by Indira Gandhi?
Well, Article 81 originally said: "every state's seats must reflect its current population. while Article 82 provided for: redistribution after every Census."
42nd Amendment Section 15 added a proviso: "read "population" as 1971 figures, until 2001."
Section 16 added: "it shall not be necessary to readjust seats."
And Indira undid the regime that was used for prior 3 delimitations... in 1953, 1963 and 1973!
Nehru was lucky and so was his daughter as during previous 3 delimitations, no one protested and the Constitution was working as designed and was implemented on 26 Jan 1950.
After every Census, seats were redistributed based on actual population.
### 1953 (under 1951 Census): Lok Sabha set at 489 seats.
### 1963 (1961 Census): 494 seats.
### 1973 (1971 Census): 543 seats.
Three peaceful reapportionments and no state cried foul
THREAD🧵: Madhu Kishwar vs Madhu Kishwar
When your 50-year-long compromised career is your biggest indictment!
Will you believe me, if I tell you that Kishwar was a Leftist Naxal when Naxalism peaked; became a Feminist when feminism peaked, was Anti-Ram Mandir when Hindutva was weak only to become pro-Hindutva warrior as BJP began ascending. Later she became pro @narendramodi when he was sure of winning in the run up to 2014.
And now, she Anti-Modi as she didn't get any favours, she was expecting on her own!
BTW, she had a small fling with UPA as well, writing "Dear Yasin Malik... With good wishes" after following Manmohan Singh's separatist engagement line post UPA's 2009 bigger mandate.
Hers is a story of wearing multiple identities in five decades: a smooth operator, bad liar and a worse propagandist- Lady Natwa
Let me first begin by sharing how I had warned about the intellectually fraudulent side of Madhu Kishwar way back in 2013 (check image 2).
Now that she has crossed all limits, the reality of this fraud @madhukishwar, who is hurling fake, baseless and motivated allegations against PM, @narendramodi must come out before everyone.
She has called PM Modi a "Satanic ruler," a "CIA plant," and a man with "personality disorders."
Let me remind everyone that in 2014, this same fraud wrote a 400-page book comparing the same PM Modi to Mahatma Gandhi, toured the country defending him, and fought for him so aggressively on television that the man she was attacking sued her for Rs 1 crore defamation. Now she is using allegations of that very man and as rejected by the SC to attack PM....
.....twelve years later.
Same person.
Same source.
Same allegations.
Nothing changed
........except her equation with power.
And the liar is basing her attacks on the SC-rejected allegations of the same Pradeep Sharma who sued her for defamation when she was defending Modi against him in 2013.....Again, same story repeats, same source, opposite sides, and 13 years apart.
What I am going to share is based on the court records, police FIRs, peer-reviewed academic papers, ED press releases, and her own published work.
It is important to set the record straight and for everyone to see.
Here comes a 🧵on the sordid saga of Madhu Kishwar with proofs at every stage!
KISHWAR's मौकापरस्ती PATTERN
Every major ideological shift in Kishwar's five-decade career has tracked where power, momentum, or institutional support was located at that time.
Not once has she been ahead of the curve. Consider this
>> She started as a Naxal sympathiser when Naxalbari was sweeping campuses.
>> She adorned the hat of a CPI(M)/SFI activist when the Left was the power centre.
>> She became a feminist leader through Manushi when the women's movement was cresting.
>> She was anti-Ram Janmabhoomi when Hindutva wasn't in power.
>> She turned pro-Hindutva when BJP started growing.
>> She followed UPA's separatist line after UPA won bigger in 2009.
>> She became Modi's biggest defender when his PM win was certain.
>> And now she turned into a most viciously lying attacker when the Rajya Sabha seat she expected never came.
Never ahead of the curve. Always riding it. And the moment the wave stopped carrying her, she found a new one.
KISHWAR'S NAXAL ORIGIN??
The woman who calls everyone "Urban Naxal" came from that exact world.
Two independent sources confirm her Naxal and CPI(M) origin.
Grokipedia documents her "participation in the Naxalbari movement and affiliation with the Communist Party of India (Marxist)."
Professor Shamsul Islam (Delhi University, The Quint 2020) independently confirmed that "Kishwar started her career with the Naxalbari movement and then went over to the CPM."
Two sources. Same conclusion. This is not anyone's allegation. This is documented record.
She was Miranda House Student Union President. SFI fielded her as DUSU candidate in 1972 (per Sunday Guardian). Later, she moved to JNU where Left was dominant in politics.
Her entire formative political education was in the CPI(M)/SFI ecosystem.
And today she has the audacity to call others "Urban Naxal." Madam, aap toh khud wahi se aayee hain!
And @NMenonRao, in her true parasitic self of a compromised Indian elite (most of them are like that actually) has exposed herself yet again……for the nth time…..
Before I start, let me tell you that Rao gets hefty pension at the cost of Indian taxpayers but always works for her real masters……ever since her famous Fujimori party escapade when rebels stormed Peruvian party thrown by then Peruvian President!
Man, this woman is a parasite to the core & sadly no vaccine exists to deal with parasites like hers!
Let me begin by requesting everyone to NOT make the mistake of reading @NMenonRao - @HinaRKhar exchange at face value.
If you do, you simply haven't understood how six decades of subcontinental geopolitics has always worked until @narendramodi happened in 2014 and the rules changed forever.
So what got exposed in reality- well this is something I would call "The Elite Asymmetry".
Often I have written about it because we Indians need to see the real games that are being played behind the scenes and how major section of the Indian elite has always sacrificed our interest at the altar of fellowships, think tank postings or western scholarships for their kids and themselves .
Rao-Khar exchange just proved it once again!
As against what @sushantsareen wrote, the exchange between Rao-Khar makes the fundamental difference between the Pakistani and Indian elite class crystal clear........
This phenomenon rarely gets discussed as it is carefully hidden under the cloak of appi jhappi punjabified nostalgia. Sadly, this is how our diplomacy played out on the world stage for longest of times and is the pain point of Rao as well.
Pakistan's elite, regardless of tone, stage, or audience, ALWAYS works in the direction of its state's strategic interest.
Compared to them, significant section of India's elite spends its energy working against its own government.
Chalo, samjhte hain kaise...
Congress and its supporters never tire of boasting about having a Cambridge PhD economist as PM while mocking PM @narendramodi's humble origins at the same time.
Well, since data doesn't lie so let us check 20 years of data on India's oil economy to find who ran India's ₹30 LAKH CRORE oil economy better : PM with Cambridge PhD degree or a PM with humble origins and who also sold chai once at the railway station...
Thread follows!
To set the context, let us look at what Cambridge educated PM inherited in 2004 from a Pracharak PM Vajpayee after his 6 years rule:
In line with Kelkar committee's recommendations, Vajpayee govt dismantled Administered Pricing Mechanism (APM) and made petrol pricing market linked.
Prices in Delhi when UPA took over:
☑️ Petrol: ₹33.71/L
☑️ Diesel: ₹21.74/L
☑️ LPG: ₹241/cylinder
Remember these numbers as they will tell you the reality of Cambridge educated PM the best!
How many of you that know that-
1) Despite APM being formally dismantled, Manmohan's government effectively brought back government controlled pricing through the back door? Yes you heard it right. 2) Instead of letting market pricing work (as ABV govt intended), UPA forced OMCs to sell below cost, thus creating massive "under-recoveries," and then compensated them by issuing oil bonds effectively kicking the bill to the future.
So by the time Manmohan Singh was kicked out by the voters in 2014, prices in Delhi rose to
If you ever happen to be near Astley Hall, Dehradun, pls find her and buy stuff from her to support her. She told me she sells variety of stuff until 11:30 night.
I felt I found her as I needed to meet one to help me extract out of the general disenchantment creeping within me
I had a brief chat with her after she approached me. I found something of my use in her box; more importantly I was interested in hearing her story. She is from Delhi, lives in a rented accommodation as both her sons died n now supports her by selling variety stuff to shop goers
Life is extremely uncharitable on some - but then it is the tenacity and the will that helps overcome problems one faces. To me, the highlight was the way she narrated her story with a smile on her face, with acceptance and recognition of her state, written over it.
