Look, I love teachers.

My mom was a teacher. I have friends that are teachers. Hell, I went to college to be a teacher.

But teaching as a specialized profession?

LOL no. Just no.
Unless it is in a specialized position, like special ed or music teacher, it's not a position that requires much more than a lot of patience, understanding of the material, and decent planning skills.

Basically, being a parent.
"You don't know what you're talking about!"

Except for going to college to be a teacher, yes.

I'll never forget being at the blackboard and hearing a kid throw up behind me.

That was an interesting experience.
The idea that only certain people with certain pieces of paper should decide what kids can be taught is an affront to common sense and a blatant disregard for parents and society.
It's quite Hitler-ish, really.

Why do you think he wanted "The Hitler Youth"? It wasn't because he was hoping to have pictures hanging on his refrigerator.
"Parents choosing what kids are taught has the same energy as passengers on an airplane deciding they should fly it."

You do realize that parents have taught the kids their entire lives before they start school, right?
Colors, numbers, letters. How to act around other people.

Parents are responsible for these things. Not some egghead teacher who has five cats.
Want to know what teachers do with all their schooling in how to school?

First day of teaching, all the knowledge goes in the trash can.

Because actual students don't act like theoretical students.
Actual students have actual feelings and actual thoughts and need to be seen as such.

And nothing in a book will tell you how to treat them.
So no. No specialization required, you idiot.
So let's talk about what you really mean, shall we?

It's not that parents aren't qualified, because they are.
It's not that parents don't have standing, because they pay taxes so they do have standing to question what is taught.

Why are you really against parents standing up?
Simply put: your ego.

Parents around the country have seen what is going on, and they're not going to be silent anymore.

"How dare you question me?" you scream as you clutch your worthless degree from a shitty university to your chest.
Remember how teachers were LIVID at the suggestion of cameras in classrooms?

"How dare you spy on me and my teaching??"

The only reason you don't want to be watched is because you know you're doing something wrong.

The kids won't call you on it. The parents will.
Imagine: you're a communist atheist. Your child is attending a school and comes home one day with an assignment on "What is the evidence that God blessed America?"

And then when you question the school board about it, you're called a terrorist and told you can't question it.
"Sorry. No degree, no questioning."

But that violates your rights, right?

Well, Mr. Shoe, please meet Mr. Other Foot.
"But CRT isn't religion. It's analyzing history through a lense of privilege, race, and context."

So can it be questioned?

"NOOOOO"

Then it's a religion. Thank you for playing.
"But you don't understand what it's like to be a teacher!"

I understand that in some big city school districts, firing a teacher is impossible.

I understand that teachers can show up drunk, have sex with students, and still draw a pay check.
See, education used to be about education. It used to teach life skills, how to think, and prepare kids for the world outside.

Now, the focus is on self esteem and race.

Looking around, I don't think that's working so well. Do you?
Hell, even young people are saying things like "maybe school should have taught me about taxes and cooking and home maintenance."

They used to.

Then the practical was replaced by the impractical and called "old fashioned."

I think we lost more than we gained.
The other side to the whole "only pieces of paper qualify teachers" is the idea that homeschoolers are somehow deficient.
The only people who still think homeschooling is a bad idea are the people who aren't as smart as homeschoolers.

They probably got beat in a science competition by some scrawny William.
I have two cousins who were homeschooled.

One is becoming a lawyer. The other is becoming a structural engineer.

They're not the exception to the rule.
Forcing kids to be indoctrinated by paid political operatives (watch those Tik Toks and tell me they're not) is a purposeful dumbing down of kids.
Feeding them the gruel of socialism, racism, and collectivism rather than supporting their individuality is a crime against humanity.
We're graduating kids who can't read or write. Patting them on the head for a job well done and they have no life skills.

But yeah, teachers are totes required. *insert dismissive wanking gesture*
"School choice is just about defunding public education."

It isn't but it should be, because public education is a dumpster fire.
You realize modern school buildings are modeled after prisons, right? Being able to control the flow of students when something pops off.
Anyway...

TLDR

Teaching isn't a specialized field. Most of the time, teachers are little more than glorified guards, shoving kids along until time served, having learned nothing.

Oh, and sexual abuse by teachers is on the rise. But don't worry about that... they have papers.

Apparently, Joe Biden's plan for controlling COVID was mumbling incoherently in front of tv cameras and going full fascist in policies.

How could anyone have seen this coming...
I mean, on the campaign trail, he was so demure and coherent and put together.

Who among you hasn't challenged someone to step outside??

Let he who hasn't called someone "Fat", cast the first stone!!
I'm just kidding.

At this point, if you still think you voted for a cognizant decent human being who believes in moderate governance and has actual ideas, you're a lying dog-faced pony soldier.

Healthcare requires someone else's labor. Demanding it be a human right is slavery.
You have the right to SEEK healthcare. You have the right to shop around to find someone that will provide healthcare at an agreed upon price.

But healthcare is a service, not a commodity.
A doctor owes no one his time or service, excepting that they pay him.

A nurse owes no one his time or service. unless they agree to it.

Democrats mad at Bezos for getting rich off a service people use willingly but not going after Pfizer getting rich off mandates.

See the difference?
One promotes free market solutions.

The other pushes government control.
“Jeff Bezos is worth $205 billion! That’s unfair!”

*pushes vaccines that make other people billionaires.

If you're happy or sad the school shooter turned out to be black and not white,

log the fuck off Twitter.
Your humanity is in danger of disappearing.
The fact that a young man felt he had no option but to grab a gun and settle the score should evoke some kind of emotion out of you.

But his skin color? That's what you're focused on?

What are you going to do in the new communist world?

"I'm going to teach gender theory in the morning, afternoon drum circle, and..."

LOL no really. What are you going to do?
Any answer other than "be productive for the collective" is met with a wall and a bang.

I'm sorry you never learned history.
You like to fast?

Well, does communism have a fasting plan for you!

Since the AG of the USA has declared parents opposed to CRT “terrorists”, that means CRT is an official position of the government.

CRT is anti-racist which is actual racism.

So the US government’s official position is racism.

IOW, same as it ever was.
That doesn’t mean all or even the majority of Americans are racist.

It doesn’t mean all policies are racist.
Buuut blankets to Native Americans, camps for Japanese Americans, the CIA dropping crack into black communities… not too mention injections, laws, policing policies…
