On Saturday, I went skydiving for a music video and during the 2nd jump my phone dropped from ~6,000 ft... 😱

Today, I was reunited with my phone. Not only is it still working, but it didn't get scratched and the screen is not cracked. 🙌🏾

@oneplus - your best endorsement ever!
My 2.5 year old OnePlus 7 Pro after surviving a 6,000 foot drop.

Not a scratch...

This is why I refuse to upgrade. Still my favourite phone. 💜
And it's still prettier than every iPhone, with their monstrous top notches. 😝

The homeless encampments in Los Angeles are tragic.

I still can't believe this exists in such a wealthy city in such a wealthy country.

It's hard to get over it... Witnessing some gnarly stuff out here. 😟
I've been to 100+ cities in 35 countries, and the most desperate and depressing homelessness I've seen is in LA and San Francisco.

In other places, it's primarily purely poverty driven, but in Cali it's combined with severe mental issues, drugs, bizarre polices, and apathy.
I've seen some miserable stuff on my travels and it's quite hard to shock me, but the California major city situation is truly shocking. Yet people here act like it's normal and acceptable...

It's hard to describe it. You have to witness it first hand.

I've received hundreds of messages from people concerned about their employers mandating injections.

While I'm humbled you can confide in me, you're taking it up with entirely the wrong person.

I can't fight all these battles for you. You have to stand up for yourselves.
I don't know why so many people choose to work for employers who don't respect their basic autonomy, beliefs, and choices.

But when you choose quiet temporary comfort over longterm sovereignty, these things eventually happen.

You have to fend for yourself. We are all adults.
Too many people think they can quietly hide forever and the fight will never come to their door...

I've been warning you about this since pre-covid. But people get defensive when I say it.

They will take as much as you give them. And you've given them a lot.

Very hot take.

I am not convinced that the actions of governments around the world have saved more lives than they destroyed over the last 18 months...

It's feasible that them doing absolutely nothing would have led to a similar or better overall result - all things considered.
I've thought about this a lot. I believe the vast majority of govt rules and policies have been a net negative.

Many have directly and indirectly harmed or killed people.

Strong suggestions to 'wash your hands, take vitamin D, and lose weight' would have been more effective.
It was known from March/April 2020 that it was elderly people and those with major co-morbidities who were high risk.

Instead of being calm, sensible, and trying to prioritise and protect said individuals (as many smart people suggested), they shut down the whole planet.

You shouldn't have to inject yourself with a foreign substance from a pharmaceutical company to fully participate in society.

People have lost their minds.

Extraordinarily dangerous precedent being set, yet so many can't see it, or don't care.

Pure buffoonery.
Society went from telling kids not to take experimental drugs, to forcing them to.

'Greater good blah blah... "

Mental.
You want/need a shot or medicine?

Cool. Go get it. 👍🏾

Don't want or need a medical intervention?

Cool. 👍🏾

People overcomplicating the most basic concepts.

If Donald Trump had pushed for 'vaccine passports' then 100% of Americans who are currently in favour of them, would be opposed to them.

And 100% of Americans who are currently opposed to them, would still be opposed to them.

You know this is true.
They would have called him a 'fascist', compared him to Hitler, made Holocaust comparisons, and called it 'The New Jim Crow'.

And this time, they would have had a decent point...
A lot of people on 'the left' support these measures now simply because they believe they're sticking it to 'Trump supporters' and 'right wing anti-vaxx conspiracy theorists'.

Meanwhile, they're sticking it mainly to Black Americans, immigrants, and all sorts of others. 🤷🏿‍♂️

It's so weird that millions of people are still pretending that we are living through The Black Death or something.

Westerners have become so soft.
Grown 'men' still running around outside with double diapers on their faces and throwing hysterical fits all over a virus that has less than a 0.1% chance of killing them, that they've already taken multiple vaxxines for.

Shameful.
Willfully giving up all of the freedoms and rights that their ancestors literally fought and died over, all because they're a bunch of bedwetters.

It's truly embarrassing. I can't sugarcoat it.
