Anyone with interest in water resources engineering, hydrology, ecology, geosciences, or background of civil or geological engineering with those interest?

#RoadToGradschool
Great to know your expertise and interests. This is the information

There is an opening for graduate students with those interest to start in Fall 2022 at University of Delaware. Experience with coding and/or hydrologic modeling is a plus, even if only in coursework.
Several options for projects exist; to get a sense for the work I do, see examples of current/past research [bit.ly/3ljCnn6] . To start a conversation, please email me your resume or CV (cvoter@udel.edu) and tell me a little bit about your research interests.

Writing Your Academic Statement of Purpose

What is it?

The Academic Statement of Purpose is one of your primary opportunities to help the admissions committee understand your academic objectives and determine if "you are a good match for the program you are applying to."
Each applicant must submit an Academic Statement of Purpose (ASOP). The goal of this document is to impress upon the admissions committee that you have a solid background and experience in your area of interest and that you have the potential to be successful in graduate study.
Why is it important?

a) This is one of the most important pieces of your graduate school application because it:

b) Gives the reviewers an understanding of your academic background and interests.
