Yesterday, someone tried to berate us for writing up on our Patreon page a summary of the Wednesday night gun battle and resulting homicide of an innocent bystander. They tried to accuse us of "monetizing" crime.

First of all, ALL OF OUR CONTENT ON PATREON IS ALWAYS FREE TO ACCESS. We never put it behind their paywalls because we believe people have the right to access critical public safety information. It's merely a platform where we can post and people can support us if the CHOOSE.

ALL MAINSTREAM #MNMEDIA MONETIZES CRIME & their other reporting. They are not in the business of giving you news. They are in the MONETIZATION BUSINESS OF SELLING "NEWS" AND GETTING CLICKS FOR ADVERTISERS. You can't even get the Wednesday story on @StarTribune without paying.

Our reporting on the Wednesday gun battle and resulting homicide was far more complete and detailed than ANY #MNmedia and we didn't ask for a dime to give you the information.

For people who don't get it, WE DO THIS FOR FREE. We spend HOURS a day (for 11+ years!) researching and gathering information THAT YOU WON'T/CAN'T/DON'T get anywhere else including our local lamestream media.

We are not stifled by or beholden to advertisers.
