We really ARE living in a combination of 1984 and Atlas Shrugged, with the worst features of both. I think if we, who know better, simply go the Atlas Shrugged route, we can bring this sick tyranny to its knees. Do people know? (Thread)

How many doctors and nurses are refusing the vax? How many pilots? How many police officers, firefighters, and EMTs? How many 9-1-1 calltakers and dispatchers? How many people who keep these networks and systems running?

How many flight controllers? How many truck drivers, lift operators, dock-workers, and others who keep it all afloat will simply refuse? Who starves first? Who goes without healthcare first? When you call 9-1-1, what if nobody answers? What if even a significant portion quit?

People don't understand how things really work. They don't understand that a fuel shortage, like we experienced in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina, starts when a very localized shortage causes an expanding ring of displaced demand.

First, gas stations in one specific locale can't get fuel. Their customers go to the next place, but they add to the normal quantity demanded at that location, quickly running it out of fuel. It begins to spread. What started as a localized shortage quickly expands to region-wide

From there, the prices explode. At some point, no matter how much money you have, there's no supply to be bought. This is because our supply chain has broadly adopted the principle of JIT. That's "Just-In-Time" inventory management. You don't keep a huge supply.

You continually take in shipments scheduled to meet expected demand. Two problems arise, which are: If anything causes a shortage, or anything causes an unusual demand quantity, you're in trouble. This requires the decisions and planning of a myriad of people.

From the beginning of the supply chain, at production of raw materials, everybody is meeting schedules of delivery. All along the way, truck-drivers, terminal workers, all of them, must keep it all flowing. Now multiply this across all industries.

Imagine this in every field of human endeavor. Imagine what happens when a shortage of only 10-20% pops up in one place or another. What happens next? Then introduce government. Then enter a coercive, thuggish bureaucracy.

The government has only force. It has nothing else to offer or barter with. When government interferes in employment, it mangles that entire supply chain. Goods and services do NOT grow on trees, whatever the lefties tell you. No, they who produce nothing but misery are fools.

Do you know how to make a microchip? How about a pencil? What about a dishwasher? A car? What about something simpler, like a t-shirt? Can you produce those? No? None of these things are produced by a single pair of hands or a single mind.

They require the productive efforts, and the VOLUNTARY AGREEMENT of all the parties involved. Nobody works for free except prisoners. Nobody works at a loss except a fool. Nobody but a slave accepts a lash as payment. What did you think would happen?

Did you believe the millions of minds and hands that KEEP YOU ALIVE would work for free, or at gunpoint, when you demanded they take a vaccine to PROTECT YOU? What arrogance lives inside such a vapid, vacuous skull? You can't make a Caesar's salad without help, but you DEMAND?

Think of the moron who demands a television, and the signal to watch it. What goes into delivering some bewilderingly useless programming to your mind-numbed cranium? Gaping maw full of popcorn, you can't imagine any of it, but you make demands?

Every working person, who produces anything of value, should go on strike against the useless thieves who lay about all day living off the efforts of their neighbors, secure in the knowledge that some worthless politician will help them secure the loot. It's time to stop.

For those who missed it, in 1957, Ayn Rand told us how. You might not like her, or you might not like some aspects of her philosophy, but she's dead. Her warning is coming true, and her prescription is available to all the victims of this madness.

It's time to put the screws to all of them. It's time to watch Washington DC die. It's time to stop them dead in their tracks, and take from them all their power. It's simple, really. ALL their power comes from stealing from those who produce to give to those who produce naught.

As ever, they skim a healthy take right off the top, and kick you for your trouble besides. You're their beasts of burden. You work for them freely all this time on the promise that they won't molest you TOO much. Well now, they've crossed a line. They've demanded obedience.

IF you obey now, you will never be free again, and the lashing will only come more brutally and more frequently from here on out. They're savages. They don't realize they're killing the goose that's been laying their golden eggs all these years.

Of course, a few know it, but they're gambling they'll be able to hang on viciously, enough to outlast their brethren. They know what happens. Do you think it will not come? Destruction is upon all of us. The time to choose is now, while we're still strong enough to resist.

It's time to deny them your labor. It's time to deny them your mind. It's time to deny them anything. Let it all collapse. You're smart enough to survive. They need YOU. You don't NEED them. In this bargain, you're the perpetual victim. STOP. The word is "No."

No more coercion. No more mandates. No more lashes. No more of their controls. No more obedience. It's time. Stand. For yourself, for your children, for generations yet born, stand in the name of all that is good and righteous. "No." Say it, and back it up. We're that far gone.
