In order to find success on Twitter, you have to develop what I like to call, #TwitBits. TwitBits are Twitter habits that will set you up for success. These tiny routines will put you on a path to be a Twitterpreneur.
1/ Lists
Twitter is a rabbit hole and your main thread could be a mishmash of all your likes and passions. If you follow people across all of your passions, your thread will be a mess. Lists help you organize your content into different categories.
1B/ If you wake up and only want to consume cooking tweets, go to your cooking list. Habits your jam of the day? Make a list for that. It’s that simple.
2/ TweetDeck
It’s time to curate your lists into a dashboard. I like to have access to multiple lists at one time. Using the example of cooking, let’s say you want to break this up into master chefs and home cooks.
2B/ Using TweetDeck, you can create two columns side by side and watch the stream populate their tweets. Tweetdeck turns your lits into columns.
3/ Notifications
If there are a handful of people you follow whose tweets you MUST see in real-time, make sure to turn on notifications. After you follow someone, make sure to click the bell next to the following button.
3B/ Once they tweet, you’ll be notified and you can add to the conversation. Engaging and being part of the conversation get you on people’s radars.
4/ Advanced Search
This is the single best feature on Twitter that almost no one uses. Think of this as Twitter’s internal search engine. Play around, have fun, and see what you can dig up. twitter.com/search-advanced
5/ Scheduled Tweets
I get it, we’re all busy. Schedule your tweets takes the pressure off. This is also great for when you curate ideas and want to drip the content out to your followers.
6/ Threads
The Twitter algorithm loves threads. They are a great way to break down complex topics that can’t be covered in 280 characters. Threads help build the credibility of your knowledge on any given subject.
6B/ They’re also a great way to lure people into an ask at the end of the thread. This Atomic Essay is a great example of what a thread can look like.
7/ Build Your Community
Now that you have a framework for getting your audience building started, what’s next? It’s time to start capturing emails. It’s never too early to start a blog/newsletter.
8/ Analytics
The devil is in the details. analytics.twitter.com. If you’re just getting started, you can ignore this. As your followers grow, it will be helpful to understand what content works, what time of day is best and all the other little details analytics has to
offer.
You've made it to the end. 👏

There is no one path to achieve success. I like to think about success as a maze, sometimes you take a wrong turn, the sooner you realize it, the faster you will find your right path.
Here are three steps I took to find success in my life and business.
🧵👇🏼
1/ 👁 Vision Board - I’m a visual person. Having curated imagery in front of me reinforces what my goals are. These can be short, medium, or long-term. Think of this as a manifestation of your desires.

2A/ ✅ Checklists - The written word is powerful. Checklists for both daily & weekly tasks are useful. I get a sense of accomplishment crossing them off, 1 by 1. Checklists spell out the essential steps in any task. It’s especially helpful when you have more complicated tasks.
