2/6 At the launch event on 14 October (6.30pm BST), @MMSibiryakova will be in conversation with the director Eduard Novikov, whose film 'The Lord Eagle' (2018) kicks off the season and will be available to stream via the @Klassiki_Online platform from 14-28 October.

3/6 Film #2 is 'The Sun Above Me Never Sets' (2018), directed by Lyubov Borisova, which will screen from 21 Oct to 4 Nov. Next up, from 28 Oct to 11 Nov, is Anatoly Vasiliev's 'Summer House' from 1992 – the #Sakha film industry has been in existence for longer than we might think

4/6 Finally, from 4-18 Nov we have Dmitry Davydov's 'The Bonfire' (2016), which won an award for best dramatic feature at the imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival in Toronto, thus becoming the first film produced in the Sakha Republic to win a festival award outside of Russia
