In testing many teams run these large aero rakes, these are large arrays of pressure sensors used for aerodynamic testing.
The rake is made up of an array of Kiel probes mounted to a large aluminium frame. They measure stagnation pressure, the probe is like a simple pitot tube with a shroud around it.
Each probe has a plastic tube running back to a pressure sensor mounted downstream on the car. This results in a large pod housing all the electronics.
