Bobby Knight once famously said...

“Mental toughness is to physical as four is to one.”

All kinds of mental rut root in from the conflicts you get into - in your mind.

To go to peak, beat conflicts.

Let’s break these down for you. 👇
1. Naysayer is no one, until you believe him.

You can’t do everything, that’s fine.

But you must do that one thing, which someone tells you can’t.

You fail. It’s OKAY.

But don’t give in to someone else’s reading of you.

Only you're your best judge.
2. Speak your mind

Some people will hate you.

Some people will support you.

The ones who hate you weren’t supposed to be with you and the ones who support you are who you need in life.

It’s difficult, but it’s important.
3. Be afraid but don't stop

“Don’t do it” says your mind.

“Don’t go there” it continues.

And you end up not going to a networking event.

Ask yourself why.

“Why shouldn’t I go there?”

Flip it: “Going there will level up my life”

Beat it. In your mind.

4. Define small goals

“SMALL GOALS?!!”

Yes, if you’re starting then that’s where you start.

Define them and don’t stop until you achieve it.

“Today, I will do 20 pushups.”

Don’t stop until you do 20, and beat your limits by doing 25.

Leverage it by a bit every single day.
5. Weak minds, complain!

True this.

Next time you complain imagine yourself struggling in a quicksand.

More you complain, the more you struggle. What happens? You sink faster.

Once you start seeing this, you stop complaining.

Solve it or endure.
6. Accept your limitations

It’s a funny world, when it comes to your mind
“what you resist stays, what you accept goes”

Not all of us are born speakers. It’s okay.

Not all of us have unwavering self confidence.

It’s okay.

Accept it. Then you can work on them, master them.

7. Ingest insults but define boundaries

When you climb the peak, you have to deal with the resistance.

When you win, you have to deal with jealousy.

“How to deal?”

Ignore.

Ignore, until your boundaries are breached,

if it does you’re free to respond the way you deem fit!
8. The real "divide and rule"

You intent and your attitude defines how you're going to tackle a problem.

If you want to write 10K words, don’t look at the giant task of writing 10000 words,

rather focus on writing 200 words each day.

That’s how you win.
9. Be decisive and back your decision

No one can know for sure whether their decision is the best.

All you need to do to instill confidence in your decision making is by backing it up. By making sure you do everything in your control to make it work.

Be fair to yourself.
