I've received 100+ DM's asking me the same question.

Will No-code take the web developer job away?

Here is a crystal clear explanation between code, no-code, and low-code.

THREAD 🧡 ↓
First, let's start understanding the definition:

β€’ Code
Build applications using HTML, CSS, and Javascript from scratch

β€’ Low-code
Use some tools that generate the code for you

β€’ No-code
No coding knowledge is required, use a visual builder to build an application
How does No-code help?

β€’ Quickly evaluate your ideas

β€’ The learning curve is less as no coding knowledge is required

β€’ Build MVP's in days ( Reduce time to market )

β€’ Save Money
What does Low-code mean?

β€’ Tools help you generate the code so that you don't need to start from scratch

β€’ Easy to customize it further via custom coding, CHOOSE this for more freedom

β€’ Save a lot of development time and cost
Fun Facts about Low-code

β€’ By 2024, Low-code application development will be responsible for more than 65% of application development activity. - Gartner

β€’ Between 2018 – 2023, more than 500 million apps will be created. That’s more than the previous 40 years combined
Do I really need to learn to code then?

I have over 6+ years of experience working with code, I still think having coding knowledge will help you build a scalable application

β€’ You will be unstoppable If you have knowledge of code and no-code
β€’ All your problems cannot be solved with no-code, you will need to code at some point.

β€’ No-code is your sports bike while code is your car! You can go to your destination with both of them.
β€’ Moving to no-code from code is quite easy & you will learn it in no time.

β€’ Having knowledge of code and no-code will make you unstoppable.
Is No-code going to take my job away?

NO NO

β€’ Agreed that it has got lots of benefits but at the end of the day in order to build no-code tools you need to code.

β€’ Devs are the ones who will be in demand

β€’ It will help developers to save time, It won't cut down the job
With the boom of the internet, the opportunities got to keep flowing.

The truth is that there will be more and more jobs created instead.

It will never replace coding completely anytime sooner.
If you are into a coding career,

Don't panic at all. The future is bright!

Keep learning and stay upto date with all technologies.
Few questions to ask yourself before choosing between code, no-code, and low-code:

1. Do I just need to build MVP?

2. How much time do I have?

3. Do I need more customization?

4. Do I need scalability and performance right from the beginning?
TL;DR

1. If you are from a coding background, explore no-code part-time and build side projects, don't completely switch to no-code

2. If you are non-technical, start taking baby steps in no-code by solving your own problem
3. Pick no-code over code to validate faster

4. No-code never will be able to replace 100% of the code considering all the aspects.

5. Technical skills will always be in demand.

It took me 3 months to figure out how to use Twitter right.

But then I grew to a 12,000+ audience.

Here are 8 Mistakes I made which you shouldn't repeat.

THREAD 🧡 ↓
1/ Not Engaging

β€’ Twitter is a platform where you give and take.

β€’ But give give give give and then take.

β€’ Engage with other accounts, add more value to them.
β€’ If you regularly engage with at least 10-15 accounts I'm sure that account will start noticing you.

β€’ I wasted my initial days just focusing on MY tweets, MY likes, MY comments.

β€’ It didn't work well.
