I’m creating a “coffee club” style store for this client

Let's dive into HOW TO LAND HIGH-VALUE CLIENTS LIKE THIS ONE.

And yes, you can apply this to any niche or service you provide

Thread 🧵 Image
Working with high-value clients has tons of benefits.

They will pay you more
You can leverage their name when selling business to other prospective clients
They won’t micromanage you
They usually will need future work done
They will refer you to other high-value clients
So how do you get in touch with these types of clients?

Here are the three ways I've seen work best for me and other service providers:
1) Reach out to bigger agencies and show them your work.

This is literally never talked about when it comes to getting clients. Some of the biggest projects I’ve worked on came from mega-agencies that were outsourcing to me. They either didn’t have the bandwidth or the skill.
Yes, you won’t technically be working with them, but you may be able to leverage the client's name to get other clients and you’ll get first-hand experience on how to deal with and manage these types of clients. Agency relationships also typically come with recurring deals, too.
I’ve had the chance to work with some of the biggest agencies and my biggest takeaway is most of them just contract work to freelancers or smaller agencies. It’s actually ridiculous how little work they actually do haha.
The best part about this method is most agencies don’t have everyone and their mother cold emailing them trying to sell them something like an e-commerce store owner would. It’s also a much easier sell because you save them the time of having to find someone to hire, onboard, etc
I can almost guarantee if you get in contact with someone at an agency you can secure some work. If you are a copywriter, get in contact with the lead copywriter of that agency. Media buyer? Find their head media buyer. You get where I’m going with this.
Here are some big agencies you can reach out to:

Flowium
WP Promote
DisruptiveLeads
Silverback Strategies
FlowCandy

And even some small-mid level agencies need some help (especially as it gets closer to BFCM)

(please don't spam email them, be respectful)
The second method is cold outreach

Yes, you can cold email the CEO/CMO of massive, even public companies.

They go through similar problems that 5 and 6 figure businesses go through.

Most of the time they are working with boomer legacy agencies that are ripping them off.
From the experiences of those I know that do cold email, you are more likely to get a response from the CMO of an 8-figure company than a 6-figure company because everyone is so scared to email them and assumes there's no way they will respond.
When it comes to closing high-value clients, the money usually doesn't matter to them because a CMO is not emotionally invested in their marketing budget. The most important thing to them is trust. If they trust you and you f*ck up their job is on the line.
A few ways you can gain the trust of the person in charge:

1.) Deliver the work first.

If you make ads for e-commerce companies, make the ad and send it to them. If you do web design, create a design mockup and send them to it. If you do copyrighting, create the copy.
This way trust is already established. They already know your work is good, and all they have to do is pay you. Yes, this is time-consuming, but all you need is ONE high-value client and you can leverage that name to get more. I’ve seen this work before many times.
2.) References and Case studies - This is pretty straightforward. If you’re approaching a big client you better have case studies or some type of reference.
For cold email outreach, I strongly recommend you look into @blackhatwizardd cold email course. It shows all steps from A-Z to send cold emails.

If you want to reach out via LinkedIn, I recommend everything @linkedin_king puts out.
3.) The last way to work with these types of clients is referral incentives. You’d be surprised how connected everyone is in the realm of e-commerce/money Twitter. After working with a client, offer them $X for every person they refer that ends up working with you.
This will allow you to work up the food chain of clientele until you have reached high-value clients.
I hope this was helpful for you all! I am giving $20 to one person who RT’s and likes the post.

Wanna see an example of a high-performing landing page you can mimic?

Let’s break this page down section by section and explain what makes it convert so highly and bring in so much revenue.
Above the fold

Most customers do not scroll below the fold, so it’s imperative that you optimize this real estate to convince them to stay on your website.

Gel blaster does a great job of including only the MOST important aspects above the fold (see attached) Image
Social proof - "732 reviews" placed at the top of the page, this will be one of the first things visitors notice so it’s important this has its own line and is not nested somewhere else on the page Image

A Step by Step Guide to Creating the Perfect Conversion-Optimized Landing Page

From someone who has run hundreds of split tests.

/A thread 🧵

(also dropped this in @wizofecom Utopia. Missing out if you're not in there)
A landing page is one of the best ways to drive new traffic to your website and convert them into paying customers

1. They are very easy to split test and optimize
2. Easy to create with a Pagebuilder
3. Usually better than driving traffic to your homepage
4. Convert like crazy
Landing pages should act as a place where visitors can learn pretty much everything they need to know about the product to feel comfortable buying.

If you’re an e-commerce store owner here are some landing page use cases that I’ve seen work tremendously well
