The time inbetween the movie synopsis being revealed and the trailer coming out was the single most embarassing time to be a brony.

The reactionary side of the fandom EXPLODED in outrage over pony going woke. Conservatives attempted to turn this into their next pet outrage.

If you're black and transphobic your voice is usually elevated by white transphobes as a tool to use against trans people of every race, directly contributing to the spread of white supremacy.

Many black people are massively transphobic and homophobic to an almost comical degree. Our culture oftentimes glorifies violence and punishes feminine traits.

I've gotten a lot of responses to this tweet that prove my point about the actual aim of these attacks on those doing legal, consensual sex work.

Lets talk about the right's decades long war on porn and why this new tactic is effective.
So lets say you're a tradcath anime avatar, fascist, or orthodox right-wing christian and you hate "societal degeneracy".

If you attack porn directly, its not very effective. But if you attack sex workers it works a bit better, since sex work is maligned and smeared anyway.
All you have to do is call someone a pedophile, a sexual predator, or pro-sex trafficking and suddenly your ideology has a ready-made moral high ground.

But they don't actually care about sex trafficking victims whatsoever. Its all about undoing sexual liberation and expression.
