Do you know?

Warli Painting is a Tribal Art form that dates back to 2500 BCE, and it was practiced by the Warli tribes belonging from Thane and Nasik in Maharashtra. These paintings mostly illustrate the nature and social rituals of the tribe.
Warli painting uses geometric designs such as triangle, circle, dots, squares and lines to depict the human figure, house and daily work like hunting, dancing, sowing, harvesting, etc. Marriage is the regular theme of the Warli paintings.
The marriage theme Palghat, the marriage god in which one can find a horse, the bride and the groom. Man and Women dancing in circles (tribe tarpa dance), during the various celebrations, is another theme of Warli paintings.
The unique aspect of the paintings is that Warli does not depict any characters or images of gods or goddess but depicts social life.
It portrays daily activities like farming, praying, dancing, hunting etc.Geometrical patterns in white against a yellow, red background r some of main themes.Warli paintings were usually made by married women to celebrate awedding&they were also used to decorate huts of Warli tribes

🌺।।Bharatvarsh is named after a great King named Bharat - The son of King Dushyant and Shakuntala।।🌺

This is his Story and how he incarnated as a Doe and Jada Bharata finally realizing the ultimate truth - Nirvana.

A Thread 🧵Image
Mahabharata tells us the story of a great many characters. The epic is the tale of lust for power that separates and ends an entire clan, a story of good over evil, dharma, and karma over family and love. With such morals, Mahabharata also tells us stories of minor characters who have striven to enlighten the key patrons of the Saga about their Dharma and Karma.

One such story is the tale of King Bharat who was later also known as Jada Bharata.

The legend goes that King Dushyanta encountered the beautiful Shakuntala in the woods while tending a wounded deer, fell irrevocably in love with her, and married her according to Gandharva tradition. He then left for his court, giving Shakuntala a ring to remember him and bring along once she was ready.Image

🌺।।MANTRAS AND BEEJ MANTRAS।।🌺

A Very important Thread🧵 about the Mantras and Beej Mantras and their significance in Sanatan Hindu Dharma.

⚜️MANTRAS are the sacred words in Sanskrit that have been used to invoke and honour Gods, Goddesses and Planets since the early Vedic Era.

⚜️BEEJ MANTRAS are the primary mantras or sounds endowed with enormous spiritual qualities in Hinduism. They are frequently referred to as the auditory seed version of all the Deities.Image
The Sanskrit language is claimed to have a tight relationship with the fifty primordial sounds, making it telepathic by nature. Through repetition or chanting/Japa, the vibration of the sound of the Mantras conveys our purpose to the Cosmic realm or God bodies, and also has a soothing impact on the mind, which may be transferred to a meditative state. It is true that Mantras cannot be personalized for a specific person. Gurus select Mantras from existing Mantras that they believe will best fit the individual during disciple initiation.
BEEJ MANTRAS, also known as Vedic Seed Mantras, are the primary mantras or sounds endowed with enormous spiritual qualities in Hinduism. They are frequently referred to as the auditory seed version of all the Deities. Beejas are like mantra batteries since they are used in numerous mantra compositions. Beej mantras are said to fulfil the aspirations of devotees and operate as a protective barrier around them, shielding them from all dangers and foes when repeated with focus.

A Thread 🧵

Image
