They believe it's their "right" to vilify and attack a Black woman for having the audacity to marry a White prince, and they will go after anyone who dares defend Meghan. It's not just targeted harassment and a sustained smear campaign; it's a modern-day lynch mob...

I have observed toxic attacks in the past, and the most toxic has always been focused on women, but I have never witnessed anything like this. It's not free speech, nor is it just voicing one's opinion; it's hate being weaponized and aimed at a Black woman on several platforms...

It's time the public is made aware of what is happening, and it's time we have a serious discussion about making these coordinated online attacks illegal. I have been conflicted about section 230 for quite some time, but it is clear changes must be made and soon...

As for me, I will not be dissuaded or bullied. If people want to spend their day deep-Googling me and continue to tweet my private information, have at it. It's not the first time it's been done, nor will it be the last. And to be frank, no one cares...

The people who love and respect me will continue to love and respect me. And the people with who I have formed personal and professional relationships will judge me by my actions, not by racist trolls who are too cowardly to use their real names when attacking others...

And when the dust settles, you will still be cowardly trolls whose "claim to fame" was...
