What is the US Secret Service doing assisting prosecutors in federal criminal teen rape case of Matt Gaetz & Joel Greenberg?

It is one of two things. A short thread

The US Secret Service has TWO missions. The more widely known job, is to provide security for the US President and Vice President (and their families & offices). They do this task also on all trips, and they provide this bodyguard services also to former Presidents

The SECOND mission is less known, but what the USSS was formed to do, it is to defend the US money system, at first, to fight against counterfeit US dollars. They have evolved from just investigating counterfeit currency, to modern instruments like wire transfers, cyber currency

So four months ago, Joel Greenberg confesssed to the rape crimes he committed with Matt Gaetz & 5 other men. Joel has already ratted out those other men. Since then he confessed MORE crimes, in Florida that lead to at least one arrest already. NOW the US Secret Service involved

The USSS involvement is EITHER relating to the bodyguard function to US President & VP. Or it is financial crimes

It is unlikely that it is the bodyguards of Trump because Greenberg was not hanging around Trump like say Giuliani was. This MAY be, but it is UNLIKELY

But we KNEW that Greenberg & Matt Gaetz crimes included Venmo payments and fake IDs. We ALSO know they tried to buy a pardon from Trump (via Roger Stone & Jared Kushner)

It is HIGHLY likely the US Secret Service involvement relates to FINANCIAL crimes that Greenberg has revealed

A few hours after I posted this Thread, NY Times reported that this Gaetz/Greenberg case has added 2 prosecutors to Florida from DC office. Those are EXTRA prosecution help, in addition to the US Secret Service with this case. It is expanding DRAMATICALLY
