As Ivan Raiklin’s prominence in developing the #EastmanMemo & #PenceCard - & critical role planning #J6#insurrection - become more clear and covered by larger press organizations, I hope we’re all taking away a few key lessons:
1/Don’t give legal advice to the VP over LinkedIn
2/Don’t plan, execute, and celebrate an assault on Congress and continue to peddle conspiracies and expect to be unnoticed.
3/If you post crazy shit on social media and want to be noticed and seen as the architect of “The Plan”, you will be. But don’t expect to be able to delete and whitewash your background.
4/Don’t publicly threaten a sitting congressman or senator or ask them to call you to “navigate this intelligently”.
5/Sometimes retweets from public figures at critical junctures of American history are *NOT* good to promote.
And following it asking for money via Paypal? Come on dude. Ivan puts the “I” in “grift”.
6/If you make a Google doc and post it everywhere with “insurrection”, “martial law”, and “rioting”, it actually might happen.
7/Finally, if your whole identity & headline feature you use to introduce yourself is in fact a treasured & iconic piece of headgear & storied Regiment in the Army, other members of that community will call you out when you are embarrassing yourself and endangering the country
