i will say that locking up tokens for a long time / forever makes for a real good ponzi after the initial supply that is sloshing around gets soaked up, if demand can sustain or increase

its not some amazing revelation, just basic supply / demand, innit

convex has double the TVL of yearn

thats where the 1st tweet comes into play

unless industrial sized yield farming aggregators can find deep, alternative sources of yield, the only game in town is the curve game

and the winner of that game is pretty much already decided

another tailwind is that preCRV farmers like myself have already finished receiving the 1 year's worth of tokens that have been dripped to us

anyone that wanted to sell their preCRV would've probably already done so by now, so low / no sell pressure from that segment

i would say that im no longer bearish on CRV anymore

if there arent any new challengers, i can see CRV / CVX doing well in USD terms

but its another question if CRV / CVX can outperform ETH

what i would be interested in would be to see arguments of CRV vs CVX, if one could only select one of these coins to invest in

i feel that the quickest way for me to find out the answer is to loudly declare one as the obviously better investment and ridicule holders of the other coin, and wait for them to come up with counter arguments and watch both sides duke it out in the comments
