Bannon has said that he opposes Islamic extremism. Ironically, he has no apparent problem w/ Christian extremism &, as recently as 2014, belonged to the CNP, which opposes abortion rights & gay marriage & wants to bring God into schools. @jennycohn1 w/ @NicoleSandler 1/ 
CNP members & affiliated groups were involved in organizing the January 6 protest that turned violent. They are also involved in manufacturing faux outrage over CRT & mask mandates, which has fueled the (sometimes violent) attacks on public schools. 2/ nicolesandler.com/10-25-21/
Although I didn’t mention it in the interview, Bannon also has no apparent problem with the MAGA-loving “religious sect” that worships with AR15s and is an offshoot of the Moonies “church.” So much for Bannon’s concern with religious extremism. 3/
