The Ontario Medical Association lost the plot. There are some good ideas in their 5 point plan, but they don’t understand that their policies have contributed to the ongoing health care disaster betterhealthcare.ca
They strongly supported the public health lockdown measures that exacerbated the mental health and addiction crisis that they now want to solve.
They are now supporting the health care worker vaccine mandates that have led to firings, early retirements and massive manpower shortages. This demonstrates no understanding of the scientific facts or of basic human rights.
Their plan is to improve pandemic preparedness and strengthen public health. We already had a well thought out pandemic plan that was tossed out. Public Health needs to be torn down and completely reorganized. They have shown inflexible, incompetent leadership with too much power
