aside from the obvious complaints that we (ppl at #P1HinLA) have about how everything went down yesterday, here are my thoughts, regrets, and observations (a thread)
i saw 0 pride flags :/ i went expecting to see at least one and yet there was nothing? if i knew nobody else would do it i would’ve bought one and decorated it or smt.
tell me why i saw a “frat bros for keeho” poster but not a “gays for p1h” poster?? like clearly we need to do better if that’s what they see coming to LA (a place w a very rich LGBTQ+ history and a lot of Pride)
this morning i saw on the tl that a lesbian couple are now engaged bc she proposed at the p1harmony show?? like what that’s so crazy and IM SO HAPPY FOR THEM!!
also i was pleasantly surprised to see that the minority at #P1HinLA was white people HAHAHA sry not sry but the fact that it was mostly poc made me feel so happy and not as out of place as i’m used to feeling around ppl who share my hobbies and interests.
i got to meet a lot of rly cool ppl from all over the place who probably wouldn’t have come to LA if it weren’t for P1Harmony and kpop in general.
the age range was also pretty scattered but mostly teenage girls and 20 somethings (like me). i saw a good amount of guys but tbh not as much as i expected. i wish everyone felt comfortable coming and supporting a group they like.
ALL OF P1ECE IS PRETTY/BEAUTIFUL/HANDSOME/COOL! I APPRECIATE YOU GUYS 😇
despite everything that went wrong i’m so proud that P1harmony came to my city. the majority of the people i met were from out of state/country who traveled just to see them <3 I hope non-LA-locals come back and enjoyed their stay in the city.
i also don’t want the conversation about people fainting/being pushed to be all negative because i saw a lot of p1ece doing their best to help those around them. i saw p1ece helping people up if they fell in the mud and giving them water if they needed it.
a lot of us did our best to give room to those having panic attacks and help them out safely, picking up phones/signs that were dropped, and turning in lost items to security.
i know we’re all sore right now so let’s get rest and drink a lot water :)

the combination mission so fun to watch bc the girls always surprise me with their constant improvement. kim bo ra's group was so good last week. everyone did well.
yurina harmonizing w her group made me wanna cry watching it. i was worried abt her for a bit but yurina always puts 100% into her performances and practice. she deserves to be in top 9 and i hope she stays there!
a few weeks back i was watching bts in the soop for the first time, i saw v trying to make his mom's recipe for nurungji and wanted to try it out. here's how it went (a thread)
nurungji is a korean roasted rice snack and i followed this tutorial. I'm not korean and i've never tried nurungji but it looked good and i wanted some of what v was having
my first attempt at making nurungji went really well, considering it was also my first time making rice. it was so yummy and i was determined to keep making this for people.
