And if my tax dollars continue to be used to fund this insanity in schools, I will immigrate somewhere wise enough to at least have the sense to not pretend amongst themselves that what is happening right in front of them isn’t.
I don’t love anything enough to play any part in using children as pawns at such a scale that it’s undeniable. And propagandized on media defended as allowed to do so because it’s “private.”

I need to be able to put my head on my pillow.

Schools in America are being paid to abuse children. This fact is being censored by private companies such as Facebook.

If you think this is somehow reasonable let me add that this is federal money. So this is YOUR money.

Please tell me how this is any less insidious than
the third Reich.

You can’t.

Overuse of the comparison has made us numb to when it’s actually happening.
No use of the Stalinist comparison makes us blind to when it is happening.

I need to add one more thing. I recently read some tweets by a man who teaches at NYU medical school. He teaches ethics. He teaches ethics at the same school I paid thousands and thousand to attend - the only school I wanted to attend.

And what does he do? He mocks,
the unvaccinated. He belittles us. He thinks it is ethical to scoff at bodily autonomy and he feels it is just to teach this to his students.

How did we get here?

Im gonna get personal for a moment. There’s a lot to be afraid of. There’s a lot to feel angry, betrayed, hurt and even ashamed of.

But there is one thing that I think about every day.

Im an only child. My parents are in their 80s. Leaving their home is not an option so
as I share this personal fear please don’t say to me “just leave.” Please. It’s complicated, but it’s not a choice I can make. I won’t leave them behind to these wolves. So…what scares me?
