How to Find Inner Strength When You Need it the Most

- thread - Image
The researcher found that the One Thing

Which makes people stay Resilient during their tough times

Is "Our belief" in ourselves.
Believing in Yourself is important

When we're really Stressed Out.

We cannot think straight, we even get confused about where to begin and what to do.
But what if the brain doesn't "Believe in Yourself?"

These are the common thoughts when we face a tough situation.

It might be that we've lost a Loved One or lost an Important Job.
When we go through these situations the best thing we can do

Remember "Previous Struggles" that we already survived and thrived.
Maybe you're bullied for your whole childhood,

but you survived it right?
You might even think about the Time when You Succeded

When you thought you wouldn't.

Like the time you nailed a "Job Interview" when you're terrified.
Study shows that

Reminding these Past Events during our tough times can help us feel more comfortable.
Not believing in yourself might lead to Negative Assumptions.

So you've to develop Some Affirmation that can drown up the "Negative Thoughts"

Which can be:
I have what I need to get through this

You feel defeated if you focus on not having enough.

Instead, remind yourself of the skills and the resources that you have and can help you through
Living according to my values what matter the most

You've to feel comfortable who you are and what choices you're making.
Failure is the part of the journey to the Success

Failing feels bad but it's the proof you're testing new things.

It's also a great learning opportunity.
All I can do is my best

Remind yourself that you will do your best.

No matter whatever the outcome will be, since it's not in our hands.
Five years from now it won't matter as much is does right now

A lot of things we are stressed out about right now,

actually doesn't matter down the road after a few years.
I have been knocked down before but I can get up again

You’ve likely failed, been rejected, or face some uncontrollable situations before

but you’ve made it through those.

You can make it through this too.
Thanks for reading. I hope it's helpful.

What's are the affirmations you use to prepare yourself?

Why Self Discipline is difficult to Cultivate?

- thread -
Self-discipline is about learning to control yourself so you can work towards your goals but it's not always easier and the reasons are:

• The Problem of Present Bias
• Habits are tough to develop
• The “Try Too Hard Cycle”
Due to the Resistance, we experience

Doing 20 pushups every day seems easy on paper or in our imagination. However, trying to do it in life is always hard.

9 Lessons from Seneca on how to manage our Time Effectively

- thread -
We tend to measure our time in terms of quantity.

But Ancient Stoic Seneca suggests that what matters is quality.
Time is only short if you waste it

Contrary to the popular perception of life is short,

Seneca's view is that we have enough time to accomplish our goals and live an extraordinary life,

as long as we treat time as our most precious resource.

If you don't want your life to be "messed up,"

don't fool around with those who have messed up theirs.

[1/5]
It is a peculiarity of human relationships that it is virtually impossible for one individual

to have a lasting positive influence upon members of a group of negative thinkers.

[2/5]
Usually, it works the other way.

You cannot maintain a positive, productive attitude if you spend all your time with negative people.

10 important productivity lessons from Benjamin Franklin's daily schedule

-- thread -- [2 min read]
1/ Keep it simple

There are only six-time blocks scheduled for each day, and

one of these blocks includes sleep — an obvious necessity.

A blind boy paid his way to a master's degree at Northwestern University by taking notes on class lectures in Braille, typing them, and selling copies to classmates who had stronger eyes but weak ambition.
One of the great mysteries of life is why some people who seem to have all the advantages - the right connections, education, and experience - never seem to amount to much while others who have had to struggle for everything have reached incredible heights of success.
It hinges on the determination. If you have the will to succeed, you will somehow find a way, regardless of the obstacles you encounter.
