Mastering "your whys" unlocks integrity.

Unfortunately, we don’t put in enough efforts to figure out our whys before starting something.

@simonsinek ted talk video inspired me to figure out mine(video link 👇)

Here are 5 reasons why I want to create and grow on Twitter

🧵
1: Learn and build in public.

The most important part of the learning process:

👉feedback loop

How I'm building a feedback loop

• following & engaging with the right creators
• creating & publishing consistently

2: Smartest community

All industry expert and influential people are on twitter

• Most of them are reachable
• The content shared by this peoples are gold

And as I continue on my twitter journey, I can make friends and connect with amazing creators here.
3: Opportunities

Twitter opens multiple doors of opportunity

Twitter has all the smartest people out there, it can help you land opportunities like

• Internship/job
• finding co founder for your business etc

Fun Fact: I got my first international clients here
4: Share and Inspire

I'm starting out, can I inspire others?

In Twitter there is always someone who's two step behind you and two steps ahead of you.

I'm learning from people ahead of me and sharing to inspire people 2 steps behind me.
5: Online writing

Killing two birds with one stone

Writing helps think clear and articulate my thoughts better. And since Twitter is mostly about written content so it's a win-win.

Have you been thinking of starting freelancing?

I started freelancing back in november 2020 and I regret not starting it earlier

Here are 5 things that kept me from starting freelancing early

#ship30for30

🧵👇
1: Waiting for gigs to come

I made a personal website and put the link to it everywhere.

I thought just because I did that clients will come to me with their problems. I was totally wrong you have to go knocking doors when starting out

Outreaching is the ultimate solution.
2: Building portfolio

Having a portfolio definitely helps but its not the necessary & sufficient condition to start freelancing.

To build a portfolio we need to start in the first place. I got into this vicious circle.

Later this became an excuse for not starting.
