India is a #StateSponsorOfGenocide

It wasn't only that the government of the day orchestrated #SikhGenocide1984

or that the police actively participated in the pogrom,

or that victims and survivors were denied justice,

or that perpetrators of genocide were protected & rewarded,

or that successive govts used #SikhGenocide1984 as a political football,

or that the electorate rewarded the party responsible for the genocide with a record victory in the immediate aftermath of the pogroms,

2/..

or that the persecution of my people continues till day,

or that the state arbitrarily detains those who remind others of the atrocities by it.

It is all these things that makes India a state sponsor of Genocide.
