Tomorrow is #ElectionDay in Virginia and Rockingham County voters will have a variety of candidates to cast a ballot for. Here is a run-down of the four House of Delegates Districts up for grabs. (THREAD)
In the 15th House District, Del. Todd Gilbert is facing newcomer Emily Scott, who said is “tired of candidates running without a position." Gilbert was elected in 2005
and has faced four Democratic challengers, including Scott, since being elected.
In the 25th House District, Del. Chris Runion and Democrat Jennifer Kitchen are once again challenging each other for the seat. Runion was elected in 2019.
Del. Tony Wilt is being challenged by Democrat Bill Helsley for the 26th House District. Wilt was first elected in 2010 and Helsley is a trial lawyer who’s practiced in Harrisonburg for 36 years.
In the 26th House of Delegates District, voters choose between incumbent Republican Tony Wilt, of Broadway, and challenger Bill Helsley, a Democrat from McGaheysville.
