"Sebastian Kehl has taken up the matter and recently traveled especially to the Salzburg game against Wolfsburg. There he has met with player's agent Thomas Solomon. There was also talked about concrete figures."
"[...] The Adeyemi side feels a certain appreciation from Dortmund and has with Bellingham and Co. good examples before eyes, where the journey can go with a BVB change."
Kehl, who will replace Zorc as sporting director from the summer, is taking on the Adeyemi poker and is said to have shown Solomon a clear career plan in Salzburg.
As SPORT1 learned, the Borussia bosses are even willing to pay Adeyemi a higher starting salary than Jude Bellingham at the time. He started at BVB with a salary of around 3 million euros.
According to SPORT1, a decision in the Adeyemi poker game should be made by the end of November so that the attacker can focus fully on his job at RB Salzburg, where he actually still has a contract until 2024.
"It's a different dimension, I'm now at a top 10 club in the world. But the biggest adjustment is of course the Champions League, the triple load, a game every three days, a lot more traveling - my body doesn't know that yet."
"It's okay. We could have won even more often and dropped a few points. But we're up there in the Bundesliga, we're doing well in the Champions League and we're in the DFB Cup. So it fits."
