So you’re vaccinated? Great—Now all you gotta do is prove it. Here’s how to make showing your vaccine card nice and easy—all from your mobile device. wired.trib.al/TnOoD6P 1/10

To get started, you’ll need an official digital record of your vaccine information. You can get this from government websites, your healthcare provider, or the place where you received your shot. 2/10

Apple’s iOS 15 allows you to save the card in Apple Wallet, which will let you be ready well before the burly bouncer at the door of your local tiki bar starts glaring at you. To add the info to Apple Wallet, you’ll need a SMART card. 3/10

If you downloaded the digital version of the card, there should be a link on the form itself that says “Add to Wallet & Health.” Tap that. You can also scan the QR code with your camera app. When you see a “Vaccination Added” message, you’re set to view in your Apple Wallet. 4/10

If you’re on an Android device, you can add your vaccine info directly to Google Pay, which will make it available right from the lock screen. The device has to have an Android 5 or later operating system and be Play Protect certified. 5/10

First, you’ll need to access your digital vax card. If it’s a SMART Health card, there should be a link toward the bottom that says “Save to phone.” Tap that, then select Google Pay. To access the card later, you can hold down the power button to bring up Google Pay options 6/10

If you don’t see the vaccine card, tap the three small vertical dots on the upper right corner of the screen and select “View All.” Tap the three dots on the card page and select the “Save to home” option. That allows you to place a shortcut on your phone’s home screen. 7/10

Google says the information stays on-device, so if you’ve got multiple phones, you’ll have to repeat the process for each one. This method will also work for Samsung devices using Samsung Pay. 8/10

And if all else fails, simply take a picture of your vaccine card and keep it on your phone. Snap the front and back, make sure the picture is as clear as possible, and save it. wired.trib.al/TnOoD6P 9/10
