Clarification! The suya and akara on the table were part of delivery dinner I ordered earlier for me and his sister. He brought home the bag in his hand with bbq chicken and fries.
Here’s the story of the date. Burger place was closed, so they walked around. It was cold, and he took her to a cafe for hot cocoa and a snack. After, they found a little sit down restaurant for dinner. He said he told jokes the whole time, and she couldn’t stop laughing.
They had a nice meal, he got an extra takeaway of chicken and fries for us at home, they walked around a bit more, then each went on their bus home. Later at home, he texted to see if she got back safe, she said yes and asked if he did too.
Finally, he told her he enjoyed himself and asked if she had fun. She said yes, “a lot.” He also asked if he could take her out again sometime. She said “of course.”
