Discrimination is….
When you and your family don’t drink or eat from the glasses/plates that you give to certain people who work for you or visit your home
Discrimination is….
When you target someone’s livelihood or refuse to buy things from them ONLY because they have a different identity
Discrimination is…
When you (and people who share your identity) mock/humiliate/abuse/harass someone because they have a different identity and then you also justify it
Discrimination is……..
When you gloat at someone’s misfortune, only because they don’t share your identity
Discrimination is…
When you or someone from your community use phone calls/references/personal contacts of people from your own community, to get seats/positions/jobs (headed by your own community) instead of having the personal integrity to refuse those undue advantages
Discrimination is…..
When you abuse someone purely because you know they cannot retaliate
Discrimination is…
Knowing you are in love with someone but refusing to be with them because they don’t share your identity
Discrimination is..
When you (your child) sits at the table, and someone else (someone elses child) sits on the floor

"The elderly woman who has a diabetic ulcer and is unable to buy her medicines and who hasn’t received her rations or her pension is the sort of person the government needs to be looking out for. But she may just become another statistic in India’s rush for digital gold."
