Propaganda likely to begin next week -

Increase in Labour hours for benefit of Modi's Industrialist friends.

You will now have to work 12 hours.

Your takeaway salary will reduce.

Truth :

The new labour code simply sets the maximum limit.

A company may still choose
(1/2)

to have shorter duration.

Atleast half hour break is compulsory after every five hour.

Earlier work done for fraction between 15 to 30 mins was zeroed. Now it will be rounded off to 30 minutes.

Increase in limit doesn't take away anybodys hard earned money it is simply

facilitates uninterrupted working that required that are time sensitive and earlier used to get halted due to change of shifts.

The maximum weekly limit still remains 48 hours that guarantees the labour isn't overloaded. 4 days work and 3 days holiday can be done.
