My 1st favourite Azerbaijani artist is Prof. Nadir Abdurrahmanov (1925, Lachin - 2008, Baku) - a painter, tutor & Head of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan (1961- 1970).
Elmira Shakhtakhtinskaya
(1930, Baku - 1996, Moscow ) - a painter and graphic artist. She achieved significant success by working in the portrait genre.
Pyotr Ujal Hagverdoyev (1960, Baku - 2004, Baku) - his paintings were mostly mythical and abstract- the result of his passion for myth and religion. He also painted Russian church frescoes in Baku.
Farhad Khalilov (1946, Baku) is a Head of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan. The predominant motifs found in Khalilov’s works are the landscapes, sea & views of the Absheron peninsula.
“There is no fuel for ambulances and public buses; mothers take children to hospitals on foot; villagers unable to deliver veggies” lie separatists in #Karabakh & their propagandists.
Meanwhile, buses are available for hire for parties. 1/5
“No food left; no cakes or sweets available for children; children are malnourished” lied Armenian journalists recently.
Meanwhile, businesses are advertising cakes and mini cakes to order.
The speech of the most flawed messenger from #Armenia once again proves that the #Armenia’s speaking of “ongoing Garabagh conflict” and accusing #Azerbaijan of “environmental disaster” is nothing more than hypocrisy and an attempt to deceive the international community 1/3
& hide #ecoterror acts by Armenian occupants in Garabagh over the past 30 yrs, actions that continue to this day in the form of the poisoning of #Okhchuchay & the 3 decades long contamination of the Azerbaijani land with landmines that need another decade to be neutralised. 2/3
Armenia cannot continue this caper forever, the world has started seeing unpleasant facts about Armenia. 3/3
