We're back from break. Judge Bruce Schroeder calls for the jury to return.
Binger says we are going to continue showing a "portion" of the video, that can include audio.
We just heard the very famous video of officers speaking to Rittenhouse and others saying, "We appreciate you guys, we really do."

Howard says he does not recognize this vehicle as one from Kenosha, but recognizes it does say "Sheriff" on the side.
This portion of the video has a lot of yelling, chanting, use of swear words and specifically the n word.
In the video, Rittenhouse says he wants to, "provide medical attention to anyone who needs it." He says he would run into the commotion to help someone who has been injured or is in need.
Rittenhouse: Let us run the medical, because EMS is not coming in. We need to help each other.
In the video, Rittenhouse says he's a certified EMT. He and Balch are walking through the streets yelling, "Friendly, friendly! Does anyone over there need medical attention?"
Rittenhouse: (repeatedly, in the video) Does anybody need medical? Does anybody need medical?
That video was obtained from reporter Richie McGinniss, who has been mentioned several times throughout the trial thus far. McGinniss was with Rittenhouse and Balch ahead of the shootings on August 25, 2020.
Several times, Binger has paused the video to identify people who are in the video. The video has shown McGinniss, Rittenhouse, Rosenbaum.
People in the video can be heard screaming, "Medic! Medic! We need to get this person to the hospital! He's hit in his chest!"
As all of these videos play, Howard just sits on the stand, watching and listening.
Binger is now pointing out people involved in the video, "so we can follow all the action here."
Howard: Joshua Ziminski ... at this time he's walking slowly, southbound, on West Sheridan Road near Car Source ... At that time, Joshua Ziminski has a handgun in his right hand. And he raises his hand in the air and fires one shot.
(On how long it took between Ziminski's one shot and Rittenhouse's four shots)
Howard: Using a stop watch, I estimated that time to be approximately 2.5 seconds.
Following Rittenhouse's four shots, three more shots were fired. Howard says there isn't good video of the area, so he is not sure where exactly those shots came from.
Binger: No one has ever been identified with regards to those shots?
Howard: Correct.
Binger: Is there any indication that those shots have any relation to the shots fired by Mr. Rittenhouse?
Howard: No, those do not appear to be fired by Mr. Rosenbaum or Mr. Rittenhouse.
The video now shows the aftermath of Rosenbaum's shooting.
Ahead of this, Rittenhouse was very focused on the monitor in front of him. When this portion of the video came up, Rittenhouse notably looked away.
In the video, you can hear screaming for help.
WARNING: The video shows the aftermath of Rosenbaum's shooting.
In the background, screaming can be heard as people try to apply pressure, call for help and ask Rosenbaum to, "stay with me" and "keep your eyes open."
Another video shows defendant, Kyle Rittenhouse, running from the scene after the shooting of Joseph Rosenbaum.
In the same video, shortly after, more shots are fired. Binger confirms Anthony Huber can be seen on the ground after he was shot.
Another video shows Rittenhouse running from the scene.
The video is incredibly disturbing, showing the moments after multiple shootings, as onlookers scream for help and work to render aid.
Rittenhouse is later seen holding his hands in the air as emergency responders arrive on the scene.
Howard testifies that Rittenhouse fired his weapon eight times:
The first four shots were fired at Joseph Rosenbaum.
The fifth and sixth shots were fired at another man nearby.
The seventh shot was fired at Anthony Huber.
The eighth shot is at Gaige Grosskreutz.
The next video shows Joshua Ziminski, the man who fired his single shot about 2.5 seconds before Rittenhouse did.
(Yelling that can be heard in the video)
"Get him to the hospital! You've got to, man! Ain't nobody coming to help!"
Rittenhouse has his head hung as the video plays, detailing the aftermath of the shooting as passersby try to render aid.
Howard testifies that at the time of the shooting, Rosenbaum did not have any weapons on him.
WARNING: Photo shows shooting aftermath.
The video now shows nearby people trying to help Gaige Grosskreutz, who was shot by defendant, Kyle Rittenhouse. Several armored vehicles arrive to the scene with a "show of force to secure the area" before they provide medical aid.
Howard is now detailing where all the shootings happened, what order they occurred and who was involved.
Judge calls for a break when Binger announces some technical difficulties.

We're back from lunch in Wisconsin v. Kyle Rittenhouse. We're back to a discussion about Anthony Huber and his "peacefulness" characteristic.
The state says it will bring up a specific instance in Huber's past where he displayed "peacefulness." Kraus says this leads to the state's point that Huber was acting to "protect" others on the night of August 25, 2020.
Judge Schroeder is now reading the State of Wisconsin text to determine what is/is not acceptable for the prosecution to include evidence that the "victim was a characteristically peaceful person."

We're back! Judge Bruce Schroeder calls for the jury to re-enter in the case of Wisconsin v. Kyle Rittenhouse.
Also of (small) note: the past two days, court has had to break for lunch early, because a food delivery came earlier than expected. Today, Judge Schroeder hopes to avoid that by ordering Subway. We'll see.
Jason Lakowski is back on the stand to be questioned by Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger.
