Since I’m in a really bad mood and sick of the @vademocrats and the way they run things I’ll write a little story.
For years I’ve canvasses thousands of doors, texted, called, all of it. This has been the WORST coordinated campaign.

First, they pushed TMac down our throats when they had much better non-white, non-male choices. Then he ran his campaign like some celebrity that treated the little people like shit.

That’s what I heard anyway, but wouldn’t know because no one from his campaign, or Herring’s, or Ayala’s showed their face in Yorktown or Poquoson one single time.

Hala stood us up for our picnic, our one giant annual fundraiser, the night before, and she was our keynote speaker. She cancelled by having her CM text me. She never called, texted or apologized once.

As we are trying to get canvassers and vols for the local area in sweeps the coordinated campaign. They get volunteers for themselves, won’t share info with the local campaign and then as a giant FU, won’t carry our down ballot candidates info b/c it didn’t help them.

Terry ran a horrible campaign and took down almost everyone with him. We can’t win when we send candidates no one can relate to and who act like VA doesn’t exist between NOVA and the Southside.

I hope from top to bottom @vademocrats leadership changes, more BIPOC people are hired, and they actively seek out the candidates that represent our values. Driving a blue bus around VA is not how elections are won.
