My brother met with a severe accident few hours back in #Kolkata. He has multiple fractures in his face, a lot of blood loss. We need to raise ten lakh in next three days. He is in ICCU and under ventilation in Apollo.
Always heard #twitter does wonders. Need it this time for me!

Okay, I will take sometime to gather everything up plan a fund raiser today and get hold of all medical details & updates. Will keep posting here.

Update from the hospital:
1. Deep fracture in both jaws which needs operation
2. Multiple fractures in nose and the bone above eyebrows has broken and forehead has become a hollow.
3. There is a clot in the brain which is not too big but not too small too

4. Doctor couldn't say if he is still out of danger. But he is not in ventilation.
5. The operation is tomorrow.
6. Hopefully there is no major brain haemorrhage but a layer has to be removed to take out the clot.

I am obliged and indebted to the people who showered their support. I will share every details gradually just need some time for me and my family.
For concerned people:

Regarding the Apollo admission bill- it was late night by when we finally admit him. There were few family members and only ten thousand cash with which we admitted him. I spoke to my mama who said 1 lakh rupees per day is needed and we all were clueless.

Now regarding the Govt. Hospital:
- Got a call from police station at around 10:30 in our locality that a guy from our community had a major accident.
- we figured out that it's my brother.
- The first Govt. Hospital didn't have any facility and he was not admitted.

- The second govt hospital thankfully did a CT-Scan and left him unadmitted. Not even a drop of blood was wiped from his face. Due to lack of money all were asking for another government hospital. But it was almost 4-5 hrs without treatment & all what mattered was his admission.

As a sister I could only think of sending him to the best possible place. This is my last tweet before I focus again on his health and coordinating with doctors. I am indebted and obliged for everyone who helped and is still helping. You all are the reason humanity is alive.

Okay one more update No blood required for now.
But he is not out of danger yet and doctors still can't say anything.
Friends just pray 🙏 in every possible way. To everyone who is checking and helping I am indebted to you all.

Since yesterday I discovered what unconditional love and humanity is all about.
