Petitioner Dr. Rommel Bautista: It is my understanding that somebody who aspires to be a public servant… needs to have a clean background and through the research it appears presidential aspirant Mr. Marcos… seems to be not exactly very forthcoming with all the voters.
Dr. Bautista: The COC contains a question, and that is simple. It basically asks the candidate, or the one filing the COC whether or not he was convicted of crime, and there are only two answers to that, either yes or no.
Dr. Bautista says he will file a petition to have Bongbong Marcos’ COC canceled and have him disqualified.
Dr. Bautista: Since this thing broke out, we’ve been getting support from various groups… all of which are willing to file the petition saying the same. It’s quite a diverse group of people, none of which are politically affiliated.
Lawyer Howard Calleja says both the cancelation of Marcos’ COC and his disqualification petitions have “a very strong case.”
Atty. Calleja: It does not validate his running or his candidacy now. All it says was there was no case was filed before but it does not mean no case should be filed now.
Atty. Calleja: The issue of timing is not even relevant in this case. What is relevant is that Mr. Marcos has been convicted of a crime.
Dr. Bautista on why he is pushing to file the petition: Everybody who votes needs to be aware of the both the plans and platforms of our presidential aspirants and also know what their past is about. bit.ly/3COouUh
Dr. Bautista: Were you convicted or not? Just answer the simple question. It’s yes or no.
Kelvin Co, creative lead of ‘Healthycopters’ drone show: Usually drone shows are just for entertainment. What we created this to reach the villages that are unreachable.
Sarah De Joya creative lead of ‘Healthycopters’ drone show: There is also the social aspect of health equity because all over the world, it is the bigger cities that have better access to medical facilities.
De Joya: In F5 we like to work with technology and technology is the only way we can make this happen, having sort of like health equity.
Co says this project with Pfizer took three months to be completed.
Co: We created like healthcare for all, so we want to use the innovative spirit of Pfizer. The solution is not the drone show alone. Maybe we can do something differently using technology.
