THREAD: I think it's time to talk about how PISSED I am that @TheJusticeDept hasn't moved on the ELOQUENT and FANTABULOUS obstruction of justice charges outlined so succinctly in Volume 2 of the Mueller Report. 1/

We sacrificed a LOT to set up those obstruction of justice charges unfettered by future tainted juries and constitutional challenges. Mueller DIDN'T say donald obstructed justice b/c that could run afoul of the constitution. 2/

The constitution says a defendant has the right to face his accuser. Mueller knew that he couldn't indict donald because of the OLC memo, and since he couldn't indict him, he couldn't accuse him without risking an easy appeal. 3/

It would have been unconstitutional of Mueller to accuse donald of some shit he couldn't defend himself against in court because sitting presidents can't be indicted because of a stupid OLC memo that Mueller followed because he's Mueller. 4/

So NOT saying trump obstructed justice was a HUGE sacrifice because it allowed Barr to come in and park a truck of bullshit between us and the truth. Another huge sacrifice was everything Mueller didn't chase out of fear of being fired. 5/

Mueller didn't follow a lot of the money. We don't know where the counterintelligence investigation went. He didn't subpoena trump. He didn't even ask follow up written questions after donald lied to him in the first batch. 6/

All of that sacrificed to prevent himself from getting fired, which allowed him to COMPLETE the obstruction of justice investigation and present the BEAUTIFUL obstruction of justice charges. SO much was sacrificed to preserve them. 7/

ALL of that to wrap the obstruction charges up with a perfect bow, and they're just fucking sitting there. And Mueller is conservative af. Garland is a rogue anarchist compared to Bob Mueller. So I'm pissed. WHERE ARE THE OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE CHARGES? END
