Present Anglo nationalism isn't particularly unique. An almost exact historical parallel was the nationalism of the late Hapsburg Empire, except with the ideologies opposite. Rather than revolutionary Liberalism the Hapsburgs espoused a genteel Conservatism of God, King, and the
old order. Other "petty" nationalisms were suppressed but tolerated to the extent where it was more economic too. It did not particularly espouse German nationalism nor did any of elites despite the reality of the monarchy being a German dominated system which everyone was
cognizant of. Likewise the Anglos are not allowed to espouse their nationalist impulses in being Anglos qua Anglos but within the trappings of the empire which they ruled even while subject people's were allowed to, within limits. To say that Anglo Nationalism doesn't exist under
such an arrangement is false because less coercive forms of imperial control relies on precisely this sort of white lie arrangement to keep the empire running. The minute the imperial core starts making demands like the other vassals is the moment when centrifugal forces destroys
the empire. Everyone is subconsciously aware of this thus the incessant information warfare by the agents of empire being waged most stridently in the Anglo urheimat.
