Wanted by the FBI, Capitol rioter Evan Neumann of MILL VALLEY, CA appeared on #Belarus State TV saying he fled to Ukraine, but likely worried about extradition back to US, he made the genius move to seek asylum in Belarus—land of the forever dictator & rigged & stolen elections.

Propaganda. Evan Neumann w/ only a high-school education echoes GOP propaganda about BLM & QAnon disinformation about Dems raping & imprisoning children.
It's tempting to laugh, but Evan Neumann is sad not funny. He was brainwashed by right-wing propaganda, radicalized into violently turning against his own country, and now will be used for more propaganda against his country by hostile authoritarian regimes in Belarus & Russia.
Propaganda AND women. Guys like Evan Neumann are such easy prey for bad actors, it's sad & terrifying.

And most frightening is that the Republican Party views these repugnant tactics as legitimate politics. Even if such a profoundly immoral mindset leads to violence & civil war.
Evan Neumann also has a history of grievance & run-ins w/ police in California. The son of famous local hotelier Claus Neumann, he's been arrested a few times, once for growing marijuana. Later for trespassing into fire zone, which he says was "unfair." pressdemocrat.com/article/news/f…
(rabbithole con't) So the father of Evan Neumann (Capitol rioter who fled to Belarus to avoid federal prosecution for assaulting police) was a Hitler Youth leader, born in East Prussia on Nov 8, 1929. He died in 2011, but yeah, his son's on Luka State TV on his dad's birthday.😳

Democrats don't have a branding problem in rural America. They have a GOP media monopoly problem. The key fact in this story: white rural voters are fueled by a conservative media bubble that speaks in apocalyptic terms, convincing ppl that America's on the brink b/c of Dems.
Democrats can have the best branding, but if voters only consume right-wing radio & TV, right-wing propagandists are defining Dems. Dems' message can't reach voters living in GOP propaganda media bubble. That's what's gotten progressively worse. We're seeing it in these numbers.
Right-wing media is a drumbeat of demonization & disinformation. Have you listened to talk radio lately?? It's North Korea level crazy assaulting ppl's brains w/ fear & anxiety. Ds & sane Rs should join forces, buy radio stations, launch news channels in those media markets. BUT

🤨#Durham's indictment of #Danchenko on 5 counts of lying to the FBI suggests in ¶5 that both Crossfire Hurricane & the Mueller probe "relied substantially" on the Steele Dossier ("Company Report"). But really this is only about the Carter Page FISAs. Don't write like this, kids.
Still reading Danchenko indictment, but this early sentence in ¶5 seems to confirm Durham's political mission to nip at the edges to create the FALSE impression that Mueller's Russia investigation is discredited. I mean "In connection with" is doing a whole lotta BS work here imo
ICYMI The Mueller report debunked the Steele dossier. How do you "substantially rely on" something you debunk? You don't. But Durham's indictment of Danchenko tosses it in anyway, w/ a specious reference to the Special Counsel's Russia investigation. Argh. apnews.com/article/techno…

Uh NO. PA SCt rejected bad-faith GOP effort to toss millions of votes to overturn DT loss.
@CNNSotu Maybe @PatToomey should go to law school after he retires from the Senate? Because he doesn't understand the branches of govt. OR he's just another GOP partisan throwing democracy under the bus.
