Deaths are
not the only thing
that matters.

But we are headed towards around 1600 deaths (excess mortality) per week for the next 4 weeks. The vast majority preventable if we gave booster shots in August when Israel provided compelling evidence to do so. 🧵2

The Dutch gov. deliberately choose this. Despite its immense wealth, infrasture and generous supply of vaccines, they decided 8,000 more deaths — your oma, opa, mother, father, sister, brother, uncle, aunt, neighbors, friends — are acceptable collateral.🧵3

Twitter is polluted with Dutch politicians practicing their theater of morality and conscience, crying out absurd last minute suggestions. Empty words while they watch their own countrymen die, refusing to take accountability of being complicit in this disgraceful insanity 🧵4

The Dutch have voted for this. They chose psychotic leaders who are on a bizarre policy goal of mass infection pursing something that doesn’t exist- there is no such thing as long lasting herd immunity. 🧵5

People will continue getting re-infected on average every 17 months. Repeated #COVID19 infections will reduce life spans by at least 10 years, each time wrecking damage to our bodies and our souls. We don’t even know the complete long-term disease sequelae is. This is maddness🧵6

By allowing this virus to ravage our country, our community, our bodies, we are squandering away our future, giving opportunities for this virus to mutate into something more virulent, more damaging, more nefarious. Our bodies are not designed to evolve out of this. 🧵7

I’ve stopped pleading out to @PieterOmtzigt @RenskeLeijten @jpaternotte because I know that all my tears, my plea for compassion, for our lives, for our humanity will continue to be ignored like they’ve been the past 21 months. Our lives mean absolutely nothing to them. 🧵9

I’m only human. The level of apathy and moral depravity is too unbearable to continue ignoring. I mourn not only for all the lost souls, but at the loss of any decency and humanity in this country 🧵10

As annoying as the wappies and unvaccinated are, this unfolding tragedy is the full responsibility of Dutch politicians. No rationale person can trust a government that outright lies, spews misinformation, blames the people and refuses to take any accountability 🧵13
