Book enthusiasts, I'm love to get a little feedback on a first draft of the preface for the book I'm starting to work on. Just kicked it out early this morning as I woke from a dream... anyhow be kind..it's my fist time writing a book and I need to find an editor and publisher

Preface:
Their is a place that exists, that we each know is real but we don’t want to speak of it for fear we might conjure something harmful from its depths. No, it’s not the fucking TwilightZone, but sometimes it feels like when we sense its presence in an altered state.

I’ve managed to find it most often when waking up from a powerful dream, nightmare, or intense meditating. I’m always completely electrified with an intense feeling of pins and needles covering my entire body. In this state we aren’t sure if we are asleep or awake, dead or alive,

but one thing is for sure…We can be scared stiff, if it's accompanied with a strong unwelcome presence around us. When most intense we can find ourselves scared to even open our eyes for fear of the the horrors that might be there in front of us.

Some us whisper cute little prayers under a breath and try to reconstruct the world we want to see and return to it as we awake. Others may scream out and shock themselves back into the reality they want to live in.

Regardless, we all are always tempted to bathe in our cognitive dissidence in an effort to avoid what we don’t want to see. But, eventual we all have a date with inevitability and we know it in our hearts. We can’t scare our realities away as truth is coming for us all.

This book is about truths and some of the implications that result from hiding from them. Personal truths but also some relating to family, groups, cultures, societies, and the human race.

One certainty, the longer we hide from some these truth’s the more likely we will end up feeling greater pain when we no longer can escape them. Some truths can be small and dealt rather easily if we just open our eyes and are willing to see the evil and cut it out of us.

But many of these truths are living breathing issues and are harmful like a malignant cancer that will grow in us and will consume us entirely if fail to stop feeding them or even try live on while ignoring them.

This isn’t book about profiting from investing in the stock markets. It’s book about investing in yourself so you can see all truths and make the best decisions you can to avoid pain and find your personal nirvana.

We all want to try to avoid pain, which is easier said, than done for most of us. Forget trying to escape reality but, instead learn deal with it and hopefully heal some old wounds. What I'll try to do is help you avoid various steps so you don’t find yourself...

sitting at a computer, or holding a your smartphone, afraid to open your eyes and see the screen that's full of red numbers indicating substantial losses / monetary pain, perhaps so much so that you feel you’ve ruined your life.

Though, my real hope is to help the most desperate amongst us make changes to their approach before it’s too late. So they can avoid the horror of living an existence where they are constantly afraid to truly open their eyes and accept the ugly or empty reality they manifested.

We all have our battles and our best weapon in defence of self comes cloaked in the purity of truth. We are who we are. Reality is what it is. We are the products of our environments. Most importantly though, we can manifest our surrounding by seeing truths and taking action.

Also, we can shine our light to help others see the truth as well. ‘The truth shall set your free’; damn right it will. Seeing it can make you fabulously rich both spiritually and financially.

But, it’s very important to first focus on the spiritual with the knowledge that many different riches will follow. The most dangerous and damaging people amongst us are the ones that focus just the financial riches and leave carnage in the wake of their lives.

As a society we need to pull together and help heal and guide these people early. If we just attack them it only makes them more greedy and self absorbed. They will just end up caring less about others and more about ‘winning’ and seeking to be envied as a vain pursuit.

Some of my deepest regrets are from not using my sight and light to aid / force some people on to the correct path. It’s all been a learning process for me and I’m happy to share the story of my growth as person both spiritually and financially.

I retired at 43 yrs old from my financial industry ‘work’ and people often ask ‘how’d you do it?’ and so here comes a this book so I can best answer anyone who wants to know in a complete fashion. There is no retirement though, that’s a fairytale or myth.

We never stop working and the more free time we have, the more we are forced to ‘work’ on what is most important in life. Being both honest and happy with oneself. Then and only then in the present do we realize there is no actual ‘free time’ either. Everything has a price.

In the chapters that follow I’ll share key lessons that have helped me evolve as a person, investor and trader. I’ll include some examples of some key decisions I’ve often made while drawing upon an inner spiritualness that my ancestors passed down to me.

I hope you enjoy this read as I will be pouring my heart into its creation. It’s meant to be my first and last book and I’m writing it at age 51 for a reason. I’m now the same age my father was when he passed away.

This book is dedicated to my children and I hope the reading and perhaps occasional skimming of it during difficult times will help readers recognize the pain or burden they are carrying and assist them in letting the feelings of anguish escape (just like cutting loosing trades)

To be successful we must also step into a light that warms us and guides us down the correct path to follow. Your best path that comes with no regrets as you know you focused and tuned your mine to choose and accept it. You'll give it your best shot and apply your passion.
