THREAD: The left's Covid blindspot.

The fight against fascism is a bedrock of the left but during Covid our collectivist principles were misappropriated by a nefarious Tory govt which used this 'crisis' to crack down on civil liberties & line pockets of big pharma lobbyists 1/

The govt cultivated an illusion of incompetence, which scared the public into supporting indefinitely extended, ever increasing social controls in the face of apparent govt inaction. It’s much easier to turn the screw when the people are asking for it. 2/

'Leaks’ of unbelievable remarks such as “let the bodies pile high” were surely theatre, designed to scare us into supporting mask mandates, ruinous lockdowns & poorly tested injections from companies like Pfizer, who were fined $4.3bn for lies about their medications. 3/

We know that it was theatre because several weeks before the first lockdown (when the government was pretending it didn’t want to restrict liberties in order to prevent deaths) they had already signed a lucrative £119m lockdown advertising deal with the London-based OMD Group. 4/

That big spike last March was the result of govt action, not inaction, after they ordered the NHS to send thousands of infected patients into care homes, setting off a domino amongst the most vulnerable demographic & then installing a blanket DNAR without consulting families. 5/

This gave a false impression of an impending exponential rise in deaths, it never happened. The peak was the 8th of April, the average time from infection to death is about a month, so the curve began to flatten way before lockdown on the 25th March had any effect on stats. 6/

The Corona Act, intended as a temporary, emergency piece of legislation was renewed in Parliament without a vote and will now stretch to at least two full years since its inception. The draconian & undemocratic provisions of that Act paved the way for a Covid mission creep... 7/

... that has seen heinous law changes such as the Police Powers Bill, which effectively outlaws the right of free assembly. All the while, places like Sweden proved that lockdowns & mask mandates were unnecessary. 8/

If we are suppose to listening to the science, current policy is not. The rushed jabs (which dont prevent transmission) have a higher adverse reaction & death rate than all previous vax in history, combined. The Yellow Card system shows at least 1,700 deaths in the UK. 9/

Potentially associated with the Covid jabs from heart failure, blood clots & other serious side effects including Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS). By contrast, the failed Swine Flu vaccine in 1976 was halted after just 32 deaths that were potentially associated with that vax. 10/

Even big-pharma-funded factcheck sites agree that the Swine Flu vaccine was halted because of a rise in instances of GBS amongst those who received the injection, and yet there has been no talk whatsoever of pausing the Covid jab roll out to assess safety and efficacy. 11/

On the contrary, they are now mandated in the care sector. 1000s of heroes for whom we clapped, who worked all the way through the peak without being jabbed, who do not feel they need this drug to help them to continue not dying from Covid are now sacked for declining it. 12/

What was the point of Nuremberg if people are coerced into having a medical procedure they don't need?
Those of us who took the jab in good faith are told by PHE “early data suggests that the protection provided by vaxs against severe Covid-19 decreases gradually over time” 13/

And data from a massive study of 620,000 US veterans shows that protection from the Pfizer jab has decreased from 95% in March to just 50% in August. On that trajectory, it won’t be long before the jabs offer zero protection. Link - medrxiv.org/content/10.110… 14/

With such a severe drop off & given that the jabs don’t prevent transmission, there is no logic behind forcing care staff to be jabbed. The precedent this sets for govt being able to remove your body sovereignty, the most basic freedom we are supposed to have, is frightening. 15/

Last year when people warned about jab mandates they were ridiculed. Now that it’s happening, what’s stopping the left from joining the fight against this annihilation of freedom?

Their collectivist principles tie them in knots when faced with a false 'greater good' scenario 16/

Many on the left fell for the first canard, that the govt didn’t want to restrict liberties in order to save lives, and subsequently wedded themselves to the ostensibly oppositional position of demanding any and all measures. Because we’re the conscientious ones, right? 17/

The corporate press told us the lockdown protests were 'far right'.
Those who attended saw a very diverse crowd of concerned citizens. African marching bands, hippies, all smiles & hugs, peacefully standing together in the biggest UK protest since the Iraq War march of 2003. 18/

By & large an informed crowd who were not “anti-vax”, but pro safe vax, pro research, pro medical freedom, anti-coercion & anti bio-apartheid. When luminaries of the Left like Noam Chomsky have called for the unvaccinated to be “isolated from society”, we must re-evaluate. 19/

We must listen to the science and we must guard against inadvertently endorsing fascism, endorsing apartheid in the name of tackling this virus. Thousands of scientists are now speaking out.
Cognitive dissonance is the only thing standing between the left and a revolution. 20/
