belle epoque where everything that emanated out of Washington was accepted without reservation as right and proper. This generation came of age where the idealized image of America, both it's intentions and objectives, were uncritically accepted as true (what is known in America
as the unipolar moment). With the Cold War generation of those more skeptical of America dieing out and the younger generation accustomed to the Amerimutts beclowning themselves too young, it is this de facto ultra Atlanticist generation that will dominate politics across the
