Ok, Tweeps? Why are we doing this?

First, it is a GOP talking point. They have nothing. So they are trying to blame INFLATION on Joe Biden

Inflation that TRUMP caused with 2017 tax cuts. Inflation that made WORSE with his Covid mess in 2020

Wolf is on GOP talking points !!
Secondly the car gasoline price at the pump is NOT an indicator of inflation. It is not a MEASURE of inflation. It is a LAZY journalist's trick, because gas pump prices are good TV images. And good for SCARING TV viewers

Gas prices LAG real inflation and JUMP AROUND MADLY
But thirdly, Wolf Blitzer LIED. He claimed the prices to be DC prices, when he picked LITERALLY the highest price on a notoriously expensive gas station, near car rental return.

Fourthly, it is MISLEADING because he is 25% above NATIONAL average prices too #WolfBlitzerLies
But it leads to fifthly - Wolf was TOLD his story is FALSE by HUNDREDS of people, with photo evidence, and he REFUSES to correct his story. It makes him WANTONLY disregard the truth. He is DELIBERATLY corrosive to the facts
Which leads to 6th, this is a TRIAL by CNN to shift to MISLEADING news coverage - like Fox. Wolf Blitzer is experimenting with an 'alternate truth' model like hannity on Fox. We HAVE to stop Wolf Blitzer

First if you happen to be following Wolf Blitzer, unfollow him, please. We do not follow hannity, why would we follow a fellow liar like Wolf. If he grows up, apologizes, you can go back to following him if you want

Second, go to Wolf's home page here on Twitter, and pick any recent Tweet, and demand he delete his lies about DC gas prices, in whatever colorful - but not threatening - language you can think of. Try not to get in trouble with Twitter vocabulary gestapo, so be 'creative'
Third, you might not know, but Situation Room has its own TW page. It is BETTER way to reach Wolf's production team. Install the fear of god into them - that what Wolf is doing with his lies, is now causing irreparable damage to THEIR CAREERS. They'll become unemployable like Fox

THANK YOU. Yesterday I discovered Wolf Blitzer's corrosive lie (was many hours old by then). I started a pressure campaign to get Wolf to remove the lie. I asked you to help me and your support has been wonderful, supportive - and funny

So far Wolf has not..
So far, Wolf has not retracted his lie. This gets us into Day 2 of this process. It may take a while. I will prevail. I have not even STARTED yet
