Let's do a little thought experiment? This might help a bit

You remember the basketbally dude once in the White House, Obama-something from Kenya?

So President Obama appointed in 2009 Eric Holder as his Attorney General (served till 2015 when Loretta Lynch succeeded him)

Imagine in Spring of 2009, there was a terrorist attack on the Capitol in DC. 1,000 people storm the building, 5 people die in violence with police. Would we have DOUBTED that Eric Holder might 'not' prosecute the TERRORISTS

Of COURSE NOT

We'd have KNOWN there will be justice

Imagine if out of that terrorist attack, there emerges news that someone from Congress was involved? Is there ANY doubt, that Eric Holder would have gone where the evidence leads, and prosecuted that Congressman?

Terrorism? Fucking of course he'd go to prison

BUT what about if he was a DEMOCRAT?

A Democrat Congressman? Criminal? Wouldn't Obama's Democrat Attorney General Eric Holder shield a DEMOCRAT Congressman?

Of course NOT. Eric Holder PROSECUTED one Congressman - Rostenkowski from Illinois, who WAS a Democrat (on corruption)

There was NO doubt whatsoever, that a CRIMINAL Congressman will be prosecuted by a Democrat Attorney General, even though that Congressman happened to be a Democrat

Governor Blagojevich of Illinois (also Democrat) was prosecuted by Holder's DOJ. Criminals go to prison in America

My point with this Thought Experiment is, that until Trump, there was no 'hysteria' or fear that the DOJ is CORRUPT and would NOT PROSECUTE a terrorist attack like Jan 6, and the LEADERS of it, who planned a COUP D'ETAT. Republican or Democrat of COURSE DOJ prosecutes the crime

Yes Trump did corrupt a few on the top of DOJ. Bill Barr is probably most corrupt AG we've ever seen in USA - bearing in mind TWO of Nixons's AG's were convicted

But the FEAR you LEGITIMATELY had, about Garland NOT prosecuting Jan 6 - was PLANTED by asshole liberal pundits

Now with the Garland / Bannon statement, we can see, Garland IS a good guy. There is Justice coming. And those asshole pundits MUST BE eliminated from your life. They caused you to NEEDLESSLY worry for SEVEN MONTHS

Go block every one of the assholes

This thought experiment shows, that except for the past 4 years of Trumpomess - the silly fears invented by pundits would not even have WORKED under Obama / Eric Holder times

Now hold that thought. What if the shoe is in the other foot? Would a REPUBLICAN Attorney General have shielded Jan 6 terrorists? I do not mean the crooked Bill Barr. I mean under ANY normal times?

During Republican AG Jeff Sessions term, the Department of Justice prosecuted

Michael Cohen, the Republican Personal Attorney to the sitting Republican President

Manafort, filthy rich Republican Campaign boss to sitting Republican President

Gen Flynn, traitor asshole monster

Jeff Sessions was a powerful Republican Senator, one of Trump's biggest supporters, but his DOJ prosecuted criminals as they got caught - REGARDLESS of their political affiliation

DOJ has 113,000 ATTORNEYS (and paralegals etc). They HATE criminals

I would have had NO worry of a Jan 6th CRIMINAL investigation under Jeff Sessions or W Bush's AG Ashcroft or Gonzales etc.

The DOJ is fine. There are SOME corrupt bosses that Garland has to weed out. He is the perfect person to do that quietly, efficently, fairly

If you get your head around the fact, that under Republican AG Jeff Sessions, this same DOJ just a few years ago prosecuted PROMINENT REPUBLICANS very close to the SITTING Republican President - Manafort, Roger Stone, Gen Flynn, Michael Cohen, etc - you SHOULD be able to sleep
