His did that go in 2017 & 2019? People are too tribal, tactical voting doesn't work. Unless we get proportional representation, we are doomed to the status quo of a government who doesn't represent the majority of voters.
Not being Tory shouldn't be your reason to back someone.
2/ For example, why should I have to vote or advocate for Labour, when the party's treatment of Muslims like myself is appalling?
It is truly grim being a Muslim in or for Labour. Our complaints are ignored and the party gaslights us to the media.
My vote is owed to anyone.
3/ It's also pretty unfair to expect people to vote for a candidate they don't agree with. Why should a Green or Lib Dem supporter vote Labour and vice versa. Having more parties should be a good thing, but our system means Red or Blue.
4/ Why should voters in Scotland who want Independence or at the very least, a 2nd Ref, vote for any party who categorically rules that out?
Tactical voting may sound good on paper, but you are ultimately asking people to vote against their conscience. That's not democracy5
5/ And what happens when Labour get in? They rule for 10-15 years before we get the Tories again. People shouldn't have to face ping-pong with their human rights.
Keir Starmer is noticeably absent on Proportional Representation, why? Because Labour as an institution don't share.
6/ Labour the institution would rather rule alone every 10-20 years, than share power longterm.
It comes down to short money, (the amount parties get per MP). Take that away and suddenly things would change.
PR is a natural progression if democracy, but Labour don't support it
7/ Ror that reason, why should Green, SNP or Lib Dem supporters tactically vote Labour, when Starmer doesn't support PR? They get another leader who doesn't represent them.
The opposition parties need to ALL back PR as a manifesto promise if we want meaningful change.

Robert Peston's client journalism spree this week:
Cites Matt Hancock's reason for his UN role loss as fact, despite @pass_blue clearly stating the real reason: Not correct channels.
Praises Mark Francois on misogyny, despite knowing of his arrest for Rape & Sexual Assault.
2/ I am sick of political journalists with huge platforms putting out politician's excuses as fact, without bothering to check anything.
They treat us like idiots. They're too scared to actually do any journalism.
Mainstream UK political journalism is so bad it's depressing.
3/ There is nothing wrong with reporting what a politician says, it's important they do.
However, when they report that as gospel without bothering to so even the most basic due diligence, it's a complete failure of standards, some might argue it's intentional.
BREAKING - Former UK HealthSecretary @MattHancock has had the offer of a role on the UN Economic Commission for Africa WITHDRAWN by the United Nations.
Before slamming everyone with an SUV, remember that many disabled people get them through motability as they are more spacious for carrying their aids such as wheelchairs.
Luckily, many of them are at least hybrid now, with some fully electric.
It's not always cut & dry.
While many are happy to demonise SUV drivers, I see barely anyone pointing out they are more often used by disabled people.
I have a SUV, it makes my life easier as a wheelchair user.
I'm in no place to judge someone, who for all I know, is disabled or cares for someone who is.
Some people are so invested in defending a cause, they fail to even consider disabled people before putting their hot take out.
Instead, all SUV drivers get painted as problematic and disabled people are once again, sidelined.
