You can now easily use ROS (both ROS1 #Noetic and ROS2 #Galactic) on a wide range of platforms: @linuxfoundation (not just a specific Ubuntu, any Linux!), @Apple#MacOS and @Microsoft@Windows - even on ARM processors including the new M1 (work still in progress, though). 2/n
The installation lives in a directory of your choice, so you don't need #root access. For example, we have used #ROS on our #HPC for some simulation experiments! You can also easily transfer&reproduce environments from one machine to another, and "go back in time". 4/n
Many plugins to Jupyter & JupyterLab enable you to visualize and control your robots in @ProjectJupyter Notebooks - either simulated or real ones, even remotely without any installation in the browser! 5/n
