If y’all want to marvel at the “free-range parenting” of the 1970s, peep this: I can remember my older brother - not yet a teenager - bundling me up in my purple snow suit, so we could catch a cable car + BART to Candlestick park to watch the (Oakland) Raiders game. Wild.

The crazy thing is, a Republican I know thought AOC is Muslim & he’s terrified of her. A fully-grown man. These people are brain washed. I told him she’s a Catholic - like him - and he couldn’t believe it. We have to talk to these people and break them out of their bubbles.
Of course it doesn’t matter if AOC was a Muslim, at all. I told him I’m more concerned about Christofascist white supremacist domestic terrorists in America, not American Muslims.
